This product workef well on my 150LB dog . She takes a monthly flea med but., we had a bad flea problem this last year . This worked well on the fleas. spray it on her back and then combed her. Oh, and it smells like black licorice . Used it on the areas she could not lic off. Awsome Product!
This is the brand to use. I frequently have to treat my curly haired preschooler for lice. This is easy to use and doesn't leave her hair a nasty mess. I can soak her hair with it when she comes home, use the professional lice comb on it, and leave it to dry. No need to wash it afterwards. Prior to finding this, it was a monthly battle of heavy cleaning and washing when she got infested at school again. No battles anymore. I keep multiple bottles on hand.
the directions say to comb before washing out, but u can't get comb through thick hair, so i had them leave it in few minutes longer then rinse and comb. so far it got rid of everything. Definitely recommend, especially because of the price. and it works good
The smell is terrible but the ease and convenience of using it makes the smell seem like a non factor. The instructions were very easy to follow and my kid liked that all she had to do was let it dry. We had a super lice break out and we used other products and home remedies to no avail. The spray bottle Is easy for kids to use and despite the smell it worked amazingly .
Nip those nits right in the bud, this product is quick and easy to use, perfect for littles who fight rinsing their hair out as this is a no rinse product, comes with the nit comb, and thorough instructions. Worked with just two treatments a week apart. Shipping was very quick and it was well packaged.
I've used it before and it works. Granted, I treat the moment I see or feel anything weird at my roots. I have coworkers with young children - it happens. A long term or heavy infestation would probably need the chemical route first and this to finish any stragglers. I cover it with a scarf and leave the initial treatment on until I can't stand the feeling of my long hair - a day or two - and I don't bother with the comb. Remember - lice have to eat every 12-24 hours from a human host. Make your head unpalatable and they WILL die. The nits are dead when they turn white. The sacs will fall off over time. Daily dry pillows in dryer to lava (I don't bother washing them) and blow dry my hair to a crisp at roots every day. After a week - if I'm not 100% positive they are gone I'll treat again. This used to have a pleasant smell - like the ocean. It's super saturated salt after all. Now it smells like anise or licorice - why????
I didn't have high hope with this but boy did it do wonders. I soaked my kids hair at the scalp while separating in thin sections then going back through with the comb. every lice I pulled out with the comb was dead and it got all the eggs. I have been checking every day and nothing left in her hair
It worked for my child. It's not just a one time use and done you do have to re apply it in a couple days to make sure everything is gone. The comb is best to use after you have washed your child's hair. Once the hair is wet and you use the brush everything should slide off. Def. Recommend.
Ok so this was not a one and done for me so I had to go the toxic route. I used it between the 5% strength prescriptions I got from my doctor, just to get a day of relief without the other stuff on me but still have some protection. It does kill lice, I saw some dead ones after treatment. I have a very stubborn case, still fighting the buggers. This would be good if maybe you encountered someone with lice and you want to make sure you didn't pick one up. But if you have an established infestation, this aint going to do it! I like licorice so did not mind the smell.
I did not receive this item. I only received the secret deodorant cream. I don't know if they were all in the same bag, but the bags from now on need to be in boxes or stapled shut because someone was able to get in there and take what they wanted.
