I must say that I've never had an apple cider vinegar drink before. I was very intrigued and pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of this drink. The taste is not overly sweet or overly vinegar-y. I even let my toddler try it, and she wanted more. I love all of the vitamins that it contains, plus it's not just full of sugar. I feel good drinking this.
Seriously impressed with these. I didn't expect much, but they actually taste good and the energy level is just right. No jitters and no crash. I'm keeping these on hand for both work and home. Don't let the ACV put you off, it's there but really not all that noticeable.
It is an apple cider vinegar drink. You do get the tangy bite. Not enough to be off putting but it's there. Other than that it's a satisfying gut health drink. Definitely better cold. I would recommend if your drinking beverages for a healthier gut activity.
I have been drinking these since before Wal-Mart started carrying the Life Cider products. They great, I feel much better and have even lost weight drinking Life Cider products. Just wish you would also supply the X Life Cider products, the best one is the X Strawberry Lemonade.
My grandma used to consume a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every morning. I tried it as a teen and couldn’t do it. She was a firm believer on the benefits that she was getting from it. Fast forward 25 years, I only bought these because of an incentive. I actually didn’t know it contained ACV. When I was putting groceries away I noticed it and put it in my pantry, with no internet of drinking one of the 3 I had bought, anytime in the near future. I ran out of my flavored unsweetened sparkling water and I decided to try it since it didn’t have much carbs as I do keto to better control my diabetes . I instantly fell in love. It brought me back to my grandma’s kitchen all those years ago as I could smell the acv while drinking. Yes I do taste it and i genuinely love it. Not too sweet, a bit sour and acv tasting at the same time. Ive tried only the Black Cherry and the Mango. Mango is hands down my favorite as I can taste the ACV more. So, after I had these I thought all low sugar acv sodas were the same. I was wrong! I tried two other name brands that claim it has acv etc and it was horrible. I didn’t get that acv taste and smell I was expecting like Life Cider Has. It has just the right carbonation( I don’t like a lot of carbonation like in a regular sparkling water or zero soda. The major downside to Life Cider is 12 oz is a tease. I try only having one a day, but caved in and bought a 12 pack from Amazon and they were gone in a few days. :(
I thought it sounded crazy: apple cider VINEGAR drink? So I tried it. It's good for your gut and it's an interesting beverage. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I didn't LOVE it. But I will buy it again. It's a nice beverage to consume slowly.
Good alternative if you are trying to drink less soda: nice carbination and slight acidic bite (which I like) -- some of the newer low sugar sodas are too sweet. However, at $2 per can I would consider this more of an occasional treat than an everyday drink. I mostly drink water anyway, but these are great if I'm really craving a soda.
I bought this on sale, and it is a great substitute for soda pop. I'm not a soda drinker, but like something without many calories occasionally, as a treat from water. This was low in calories and had, what I thought, a good flavor. I would not drink this often because 1) it is in an aluminum can, which I believe contributes to Alzheimer's, and 2) it is quite expensive.
If you want an apple cider drink, then give it a try! The black cherry flavor was nice but the apple cider vinegar overpowered it and wasn't pleasant to me. I'm not a big fan of acv but it does seem to have real possibile health benefits for some people.
I had high hopes for lifecider. The ingredient list looks great (apple cider vinegar and juice) and is packed with vitamins but the taste is overly sweet in a fake way. I was really hoping for a lightly sweet and refreshing drink but this is sadly not for me.
