i have been supplementing in-between my vyvanse dosage in the morning, taking breaks here and there or trying to take it ot later in the day. i tried a different brand of this, but it was a lower dosage and also had b6 supplement in it. THIS brand is by far the greatest i have ever taken! it's easy to swallow, fairly priced, and the quantity is great! i went almost all morning without taking my vyvanse because this worked so well! i also take rhodiola and bacopa with it in the mornings, and i have found that this stack helps my mind to connect dots much easier! it doesn't have any weird side-effects and doesn't make me feel icky. i am very impressed!!
I have issues with absorbing nutrients and take a medication that wipes out my folate. I have tried supplementing with other brands of folate, but always go back to this one because it gets my folate levels back up quickly. It's a quality product and I don't buy any other type now after my experience.
Great product if you have the MTHFR mutation and can't process regular folate. Has 100 small tablets in an easy to open bottle.

Older adults in particular need to understand and manage their homocysteine levels. That begins by encouraging your healthcare provider to provide the required blood test, or requesting Life Extension to provide you with an inexpensive test you can do on your own. It seems many people are unaware of the consequences of elevated homocysteine. Once made aware dangerous levels may require a more body friendly remedy than Folic Acid ..... that's where inexpensive Methylfolate can be added to B-12 and TMG. My results in adding this Optimized Folate have been very positive!
The price was very reasonable. I like that its a high dose for one pill if a high dose is what you're aiming for therapeutically. It's small as well, easy to swallow. No issues with toleration or side effects. I'm not sure about the efficacy yet because its still early but it does have promising potential. The price value is good if it's effective. I really like the flip top bottle design.
