I've found that taurine is has been extremely helpful in managing a fairly common heart condition (if curious, ask an AI interface). For several years, I've used taurine capsules. But I thought I would try the bulk powder form. So far, so good.
I take taurine every night before sleeping -- in the past capsule(s) with water, but with this form, I am simply mixing the recommended powder dose into the glass of water. I can barely detect any taste. Maybe the slightest metallic taste -- but not objectionable.
This Life Extension bulk powder (300g ) is slightly less cost per gram than most capsules, coming in at ~$.045 per gram. From my experience, Life Extension is a quality brand for supplements.
The recommend ed dose is 1/4 teaspoon (785mg).
Suggestion for the manufacturer.......It would be extremely helpful if Life Extension would include a corresponding long-handled dosing spoon/scoop in the container.
