Perfect for our needs. 2nd floor loft was hard to cool down as it is last on the central a/c duct. Bought this for my daughter to help with electric. Except for the dumping of the water, the fact that it's portable, easy to move and seemed very efficient made it a perfect purchase.

Dislike: it doesn't cool a small room quickly; the unit is limited in placement from the distance between the window and the length of the AC hose. Like: noise is minimal. Has 3 features: humidifier, AC, and fan

This Lifesource portable a/c floor unit stopped working before the warranty expired. I emailed the company as noted in warranty. They responded slowly and asked for a video showing air not blowing. Once I emailed the video I never heard from them again. I emailed twice to get an update with no response. It's a lot of money to spend to not even work a year.
