This boot dryer is fantastic! It is sturdy enough to hold my husbands wet, heavy work boots without the fear that it is going to break or fall over. I was afraid that a bunch of warm air would be lose through the unused posts, but it really isn't. You really can't even feel the air from the posts that aren't being used. My nephew showed up with soaking wet sneakers. I put them on the dryer, set it for the max time (120 minutes I think) and they were dry by the time it was done. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of floor space. Not a huge issue and totally worth it for us. My husband puts his boots on the boot dryer all year round.
I live in Minnesota so I can really use this. Lots of snow in the winter and rain in spring. It drys my boots and gloves quickly. I even put them on the dry just to warm them up before I go out in the snow. There are different heat choices so it will work on just about anything.
This is great for getting those boots or sneakers dry especially deep in the shoe by the toes. Between our 4 boys and my husband this boot dryer gets a lot of use. We live in the northeast and just got this. Between my husband working outside in the rain and snow and the kids playing in puddles and the snow we always have some one who needs this to dry their shoes gloves or both. I don't know who we ever lived without one. I see this being used alot in the summer as the kids love playing in puddles and creeks. I love that we can dry more than one pair at a time. We took this out of the box popped the legs on and it was ready to go.
Perfect gift for the family with the extra room for drying. Between the boots and the gloves, I'll be ordering another one.
This boot/shoe dryer is great..we use it for gloves also, dries quickly and the 4 posts really help in a household with kids.
Very nice to dry boots and mittens.
There is little/no assembly required, just unpack it and plug it in!
We live in the midwest so the weather changes constantly and sometimes you get caught out in the wrong shoes. We have used this handy boot dryer way more than I anticipated - and not just for boots. My son is also an EMT and has to work in all conditions and his boots get dry so much quicker with this thing. No more cold wet feet!
Living in the midwest, and my husband working around a lot of water, we needed a quality boot dryer. The reason I chose this one is 2 fold: it has 4 posts so we can dry 2 pairs of boots or boots/gloves at the same time. In a family of 4 one at a time simply isn't enough. I like that it has different timer settings so you can choose the length of the dry based on how wet your boots are. My husband's boots took about 2 hours to dry on the high setting, granted they were mostly just damp from working in the yard with 2' of mushy, melting snow. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is simply because it is loud. I understand a blower will make some noise but this one is louder than I expected. Otherwise I'm very happy with the performance so far.
It drys very well, but the timer doesn't always work. I imagine it was just a defective one %26 was going to return it for another one, but it was sold out. it was gift for my son %26 he decided to just keep it.
