I needed a small table to use for extra space in my office. This table has worked better than I expected. It's lightweight enough to move easily and sturdy enough to handle a banker's box full of files, stacked with books or used to let kids paint or do an art project. The height can be adjusted and the legs can be collapsed so it can be stored. Happy with the purchase.
Perfect if you have a smaller area and want a "table" to put stuff on or do work. Sufficiently sturdy for a laptop or a study table -- if want to be able to put 100 lbs of weight on it, opt for the personal table. But this I believe can hold up to 40lbs. Only drawback is if you have pets -- the width of legs under table is too narrow for most medium to large pets to walk "underneath" the table. Definitely like the black over the white. Highly recommend.
I owned two of these before. I got rid of one and I regretted it, so I tried to find it again to match it. The ones that Walmart used to sell for years were a very soft Gray with Silver Legs, not a pure white. so I was really disappointed when I opened the new box and saw that it was White. I knew from the ad that the legs were going to be darker like a metallic black metal and not siver, but I assumed that the top would be that former soft Gray. I will settle with it, I'll just have to get something to cover it with. Otherwise this table is so functional. I use it for so many reasons they are fantastic. They don't wobble like other fold-up tables of its size. I've used it to eat on, I've made projects on it, I place my sewing machine on it, I use it to do computer work, it's just fantastic, durable and easy to clean. I can't say enough about how good it is!
Love this table, nice for a small craft or a computer sitting on it from the couch or chair. I originally bought it to use as a stand for a yard game I made for this summer, but it didn't work really well because the game came falling off from wind. It's not the table issue, though. It was a little hard to assemble, but I got it figured out, and it stayed assembled. You have to push in on the leg pole to slide into place, and there are 3 height levels. Overall, I recommend this table to anyone.
This is rightly a 5 star material. It's strong can't done! I bought it for special occasions or for personal use like family gatherings. If you're on the fence about buying one, don't delay, you won't regret buying one or more.
I was using a regular wooden tray for my laptop at which I spend a considerable amount of time. This tray gives me much room plus the height is adjustable and it is a lot more stable. If you use an optical mouse though you will need a mouse pad, the surface of the tray confuses the mouse. It seems solidly built and should last a long time. It was shipped and delivered quickly and I'm very pleased with this purchase. One drawback though was after my wife saw it, I had to buy another for her.
This little table is easily one of my favorite and most used purchases that I have made in a long time. I use it any and every where: as a workbench helper in the garage, a s'mores station around the campfire, a makeshift end table during the holidays for guests to place their drinks, and just anything else I need extra space for. The mechanism to setup and adjust is so simple and yet almost genius. The quality of the table top and the metal legs are quite robust and I expect them to last quite a while with regular use and care. Since it's a Lifetime product, it's made in America which I can also appreciate. Don't hesitate and just buy it. I've since bought a couple more as gifts for people and they love them just as much as I do.
I was looking for a low-cost side table to take with me to quilting retreats. It's not study enough to put my sewing maching on (didn't expect it to), but it works great for my cutting mat and other supplies. The tabletop is a heavy-duty recycled plastic, so it is very light-weight, easy to carry. The legs are metal, but I am concerned about a fastening piece that holds the legs up. That fastener is made of plastic, and I am worried that it may break at some time. I only just got the table, so time will tell if this 'Lifetime' product actually lasts a lifetime.
My wife and I own a Art & Craft business. Some show spaces are small and this table fit the bill nicely, giving us more room in our display area. It seems to be well built. We already own 3 tables from Lifetime and have foe 4 years. I purchased this table because of the reliability of the tables we already have.
I'm older with arthritis. I got this table for quilting. It hard to squeeze the middle into the section for height placement. My husband cut off the hard plastic piece so I could just squeeze it and not pull the plastic handle. Poor design on the handle
