Lifetime 3 Deluxe Swing Set Primary Belt

I bought this a week or so ago, and it arrived Thursday. I spent a few hours on Friday working on it, then 10 hours on Saturday, with just me and a little help from my wife. The instructions were great, the parts in separate bags and boxes all easy to follow. It feels solid and my 3 year old son loves it. I was a little worried about the ground I was placing it on, as it was a sand berm I had put up to control drainage near my house and wasn't very level. But this playground seemed to have some play in how it connected together and it doesn't sway or even move at all when climbing around on it. Also it feels much bigger than some of the other models I've seen in my neighbors yard. There were two minor cons. The first is the instructions for adding the net seemed ambiguous on how the right vertical support beam connected to the main frame. I looked through all my yard thinking I had lost a bolt when it turned out it was in a later part of the instructions in a different bag. The second is there were a few places where the paint had rubbed off the bars that make the restraints in the club house and one of the main beams. But I'll get some green paint and cover them. They were minor and not noticeable.

I paid to have lifetime come and install, and glad I did. They had it built in about an hour. Completely worth the money.

The level of service of this company is the best I have ever seen. thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandsons really enjoy their"park" as they call it. However after a couple of years 4 of the galvanized swing hooks started to rust after a quick form was filled out within a week four new ones arrived. Lifetime makes the best products stay away from the high maintenance wood which only lasts a couple years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent play set. My 4 year old and almost 2 year old love it and play everyday. The slide is a bit steep for small children and the climbing a little dangerous for small, but it is not intended for use by that age. I do wish the telescope could be moved do different locations on the set. It must be installed in only one spot and for us that is directly pointed at the backyard of undesirable neighbors. Flexibility in where it is attached would be nice. Installation took 8 hours - my huband worked along for 5 and had one man help him for 3. Directions were easy to follow. The spider swing is a great bonus and can hold mulitple kids at a time (3-4 depending on size).

We purchased the swing for our children for Christmas this year. My husband and I assemble the swing set in one day. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. We did have to go back a couple times take a few pieces off and redo a couple things. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the steps going up to the Playhouse. There is only 4 thin metal rods going across for steps. For little kids or in wet rainy weather I can see this might be a hazard. Other than that the swingset is very sturdy and very beautiful I believe our children will have a swingset for many years to come.

Let's start with the good news. The entire swing set is sturdy, long lasting and of very good quality. Now the bed news. The item labeling and directions leave much to be desired. If labeling and illustrations were better, installation would have taken 33% less time. There are many instances where we put a section or item together, only to find out later that a leg needed to be rotated differently or or a cross-member needed to be turned over. This activity forced a few disassembly / correction sessions before continuing. SUGGESTION - it takes two people with decent technical skills to assemble this swing set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is amazing and my girls (2 and 4) love it along with my kids I babysit from home as well. We held off on the trapeze bar and used our fisher price baby swing and it's perfect. Reason for the 2 star review was the customer service when we had an issue in assembly. My husband and I were able to put it together in 6-7 hours ourselves with the kids running/jumping on top. When we got to the cargo net, the instructions said to straighten out the net and the diagram in the manual showed it flat/flush against each other so I removed the knots (which was a big no no) but didn't discover that until we put the net on. The pictures played a huge role in the assembly process as to show which way to turn the items for correct positioning so we relied heavily on them since none of the poles/bars had any sort of marking on them. Throughout the manual it notes when to not tighten hardware too tight and other hints/clues to make the process flawless but it had no note on the knots. I contacted their customer service via email asking for a video or information on the knots to correct it and they stated that they had no such help and only offered to “work with me” on another net after I responded back a little irritated. For the price we pay for these items, they should be a little more helpful in my opinion when it comes to helping with problems as such.

If you are considering this company for ANYTHING PLEASE LOOK ELSHWHERE AS THEY DONT GIVE A DARN AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! I have been hung up on 4 out of 7 calls I made to them and the missing parts are a whole other story. We forgot to mail them is one excuse I have heard and OH WE ARE SO SORRY voiced after receiving only one of the required parts that didnt get shipped on time. All of this and my set still sets where I started to build it THREE WEEKS AGO BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE ANS SERVICE!!!!!!
