This was a really good buy. My grandsons have had a lot of fun with it. I paid extra to have someone come and assemble it since it would have taken me a month to do it myself and my adult sons are too busy (you know how it is) so I didn't want to bother them with it. It was well worth it, since the young man who assembled it did a good job and was finished in a couple of hours.

My son was gifted the basketball hoop for Christmas last year. Upon opening the box in May, I noticed it was missing the 3 main poles. I called customer service and he was great. He Helped me out with everything that was needed to be done in order for me to receive the items. They are backed up, but will be here in time for summer play. Thank you again.

We bought this basketball hoop for some family interaction time with our kids. As we began to put it together we were missing the small axle. As we continued to work on assembly we could not find a bracket. We did an inventory check and we were missing two other parts. Disappointed we called Lifetime company to see about replacement parts. Katie answered and was the absolute nicest customer service person ever. She took down all of the missing parts and started an order immediately to have them replaced at no cost to us. We are very appreciative of the great service and we can't wait for our missing parts to arrive so we can complete the assembly of our hoop and start playing!!

Great customer service!!!! got the basketball goal for my son for Christmas.. and one of the poles got Threw away While I was trying to put it together. So I called today to see how much it would be to get a replacement part and the lady said she was going to send it to me free of charge and it’s now on the way!!!! Appreciate everything you did for me today lifetime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement to another lifetime goal we had for 15 years. So far so good. Setup was almost super easy and goal seems nice so far. It's a little load on the backboard when shooting. The sound when the ball hits is a bit loader than the last lifetime goal we had but it's works good so far.

Looks very good. Terrible written instructions. It is helpful that by reading QR code the video pops up with very clear instructions.

Putting it together was a bit of a challenge. The phone app did not work on the day I was trying to use it, new iphone and 5 bar connection. The manual included was more than a bit incomplete. The service rep was helpful in getting us a new base but delivery is 6 to 8 weeks

My son was thrilled with this net. It's nice that the height is adjustable. My only major complaint is that the base doesn't stand up to any moving it around. We moved it a few times and it scraped the base enough to put a hole in it which is not ideal when you weigh it down with water. On the good news side, the company replace it for free when I contacted them.

I will say the instructions on the Bilt app used along with the paper copy made it very easy to put together. It took me (33 yr old male) 2.5 hours. I need my wife for about 3 minutes total but almost everything is doable alone. Tip, use a table for all of the backboard stuff Couple bad things was after tightening the Rim as it said to do, the arms to the backboard holes didn't line up. I had to undo the rim and slide it up to screw in the backboard. Then tighten the rim again. The other problem was finally attaching the pole to whole backboard unit. I had to lift the base and pole way up in the air to be able to align the holes. You must use 2 people to accomplish this. But overall was very easy to build. 3 stars given due to the quality of the hoop. The backboard is the cheapest material I've ever seen. It's 100% lightweight plastic. No metal at all. The backboard has a loud thud sound everytime you hit it with a ball. There is a definite wobble to the hoop. I played high-school ball and would say I'm a professional driveway shooter, and this has a lot of wobble to it. I knew that would probably happen when I bought it at this price point so it's OK. But that's what this hoop is, just ok. For the money it's good enough but in the future I would honestly prefer something way sturdier. Even if it's in the $800 to $1000 range. If you just want a decent cheap hoop then this is fine.

Bought it to bring home and be able to assemble and then play basketball with my son. Only to open the box start assembling and the backboard was completely separated from the frame.
