[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 and 12 year old adore basketball as much as I do. It is a great bonding time with them and gets them out of the house. This basketball hoop was pretty easy to put together with my husband. We got it done in one afternoon with the kids playing right after. The hoop is incredibly sturdy for wild kids and wild shots. The rebound is impressive with my kids not having to run too much and the rim can handle a lot with the kids both using their own basketballs at once. We’re excited to have family basketball games and games of h.o.r.s.e together. Lifetime brands has always made quality items and we’re excited to add another to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with setting up this basketball hoop. My husband and I got it set up under an hour. Once we had it set up, it was easy to raise and lower the rim to the height we wanted it. After shooting a few baskets we realized how sturdy the hoop was. The backboard seems very strong and we love the Jazz backboard as well. It gives off a great rebound as well. My husband had to show off with far distance shooting and even a few dunks and we were never worried about the strength or sturdiness of the basketball hoop.

The assembly is relatively easy to complete with just one adult. The function for height adjustment is great, but would be better if able to be down lower to the ground to help accommodate shorter people who wish to lower the loop height. Overall a great addition to any basketball player’s home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop for a couple of weeks, and we're loving it! Putting it together was easier than I expected. I did need someone to help with the last few steps, but it wasn't a big deal. We live in a cul-de-sac, and the neighbor kids all play together daily. Everyone loves having it available all the time. The backboard is great and I appreciate that it isn't going to break easily. I feel the noise it makes is not obnoxious and won't annoy every house around. We currently have it on the lowest height and it's perfect, but since it will extend taller I know it is going to provide years of fun.

We currently have an in ground hoop that my teenagers play on, but we have a 5 year old that can't keep up with the big boys. He's going to love this Basketball Hoop. It's perfect size for him now and gives him plenty of growing room as he gets older and taller. We have it on the lowest setting as a beginner, but love how easy it is to move it up as his skills increase. Now he can feel included in the evenings shooting hoops after dinner. Set up. We started out with myself and my 16 year old son. It looked like it was going to take us a couple of hours at the rate we were going. I do love how the instructions give you a qr code for each part of the set up if you get stuck and don't understand the instructions. the qr code links to a Youtube video showing you how to do it. That was very helpful for a novice like me. About 1/2 hour into the process my husband and another teenage son came home and started helping and we had the whole thing set up within an hour. It was very helpful to have one person giving instructions and 2 people to carry it out. I became the supervisor! Love that the base is just filled with water. The basketball hoop is sturdy. The backboard has a nice rebound. Overall I would recommend this hoop to anyone who has a young child just starting out. It will grow with them for many years.

all put together…here is my review: This is a fantastic basketball hoop for any Indiana Fever fans! I was a little nervous when I got this in because my husband was out of town for work and I didn’t know if I’d be able to get it put together myself. A friend of mine came over and the two of us ladies had this all together in about an hour-easy to read instructions, pretty much foolproof if you just follow step by step. The pole is adjustable , and feels heavy duty enough to last a “lifetime”. The hoop is probably the best part of this, besides the backboard…that hoop is SUPER heavy duty, bright orange and coated for the outdoor elements. As soon as we finished, my niece jumped in right away with her basketball! After a spirited game of horse, I can say that this will be in our family for many years, and will be well used. The backboard seems almost as hard as glass and the ball gets a realistic bounce off it. The hoop also provides great bounce—this is just like playing in the gym! And the Indiana Fever logo is the cherry on top! I am proud to say that I received this Lifetime product for my honest review, I have other Lifetime products that I have purchased through the years and I’ve always been happy with the quality! The setup was easier than I expected - the instructions were clear, and once the base was filled, it felt solid and secure. The hoop itself is sturdy and doesn't wobble, even when my older kids (ages 12 and 10) shoot harder shots. The backboard has a nice rebound for a polycarbonate style - not the same as glass, but perfect for home use. The rim is strong and dependable. The adjustable height has been a significant plus, as we can lower it for my younger kids (ages 8 and 6) and raise it for the older kids. It has held up really well, and I can tell it will last a long time. Overall, this hoop is an excellent choice for families. It's sturdy, easy to adjust, and fun for all ages to use. We love Lifetime products!

This is a great hoop with a very fun design and so far all of my kids love using it and I appreciate that it will grow with them. There have been lots of games and lots of HORSE played! The backboard rebounds really well, and the rim works great for slam dunking! My son loves the New York Knicks, and he is loving the logo. It’s bright and bold and really sets this hoop apart from others. It is adjustable; you do need tools to adjust, which is a little trickier than other lifetime hoops with an adjustable lever. Having an adjustable hoop is a lifesaver, especially if you have multiple kids with differing heights and ages like I do! Alex B

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would definitely recommend having 2 people to assemble this hoop. The directions aren’t well written but you can figure it out. I like that it is moveable and the base is filled with water and not sand- much easier to move with the base emptied. My kids LOVE IT! We have it set at full height and my 11 year old has no problem using it. Make sure you have two people to adjust the height, it is heavy. I think it’s a good product for the price- great starter hoop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good basketball hoop that can grow with your children. The graphics are great and once filled with sand/water it is sturdy. It was easier to move prior to filling. It is adjustable, but you need to remove a screw in order to adjust the height. The backboard is smaller than the one on our other Lifetime basketball hoop, but the graphics make up for the size difference. The rim is tight and now my youngest can have a hoop set to his height preference. Assembly took longer than expected. The directions weren’t the best, it would help if the parts had stickers for labels. It was much easier with two people putting together along with a ratchet set. It is definitely a great starter basketball hoop and we will get years of use out of it.
