Lifetime 50-Inch Shatterproof Portable Basketball Hoop with Speed Shift Adjustment & Slam-It Rim - Model 51544-Outdoor Play

I bought the 90492 portable basketball system a month ago and the base ended up with a hole in it so all of the water came out of the bottom. I submitted a warranty claim and they are sending the parts out to me. It did take 2 weeks to get a response but when I called they said it was the busy time for them and they would take care of my concern as quickly as they could. Customer service was friendly, though you do usually have to wait on hold a while, but they do take care of your issues the best they can. I own the basketball system as well as one of their coolers and have been looking into getting two new coolers and two kayaks and hope those items serve me the same as these have. We have also used their tables and chairs for various family activities for a long time. If lifetime ever needs a product tester let me know, I need a lot more lifetime products.

We have had this basketball hoop for several years and it is still in good shape. Being able to change the height is definitely an advantage. The option of filling the base with either water or sand to support the basketball hoop is also another added feature. We have moved and it is still in good condition going through PA winters.

I had an unforeseen issue with this item and I've tested the post-selling department. Believe me - incredible ... I'm relly relly surprised, here in Italy it would be impossible to obtain an assistance like this one. Thank you very much, for me, from now there is only one brand for my basketball days - Lifetime! Great company!!!

I got this for the kids for Easter, great product. Definitely took 2 people to assemble, and about 3 hours, but instructions were easy to follow. I was missing one of the plugs for the base, called customer service, and they shipped it right away. Great product and experience overall.

We bought this hoop last summer and couldn't be happier with it. A year later we had some questions regarding the product and called Lifetime directly, their customer service representative was awesome - so helpful! We definitely recommend this product.

During the COVID crisis my son has been relying on running and playing basketball in the driveway to keep himself active, fit and quite frankly sane. A recent tropical storm passed close by and even though we secured it the hoop and stand blew over bending a few parts. I E-mailed to lifetime to ask about purchasing new parts and they sent them to me without charge!!! Now thats service. There is one high school boy who is much happier in this mess of Covid.

It took a freak weather event (micro-burst / wind sheer) to knock this goal over. Even then, only one small part got bent - easily replaced. Lifetime customer service is committed to satisfaction. This goal's height is so easy to adjust for younger and older players and is stable at all heights. With a base full of water, it doesn't budge. If you have notice of damaging winds, though, I'd lay it over on its side or put it in a sheltered area. My micro-burst came out of nowhere and focused directly on my goal, leaving neighbor's trash cans unmolested. I'd call that a "heavenly testament" to the durability of these products.

We bought our hoop and had a handy man put it up. All was good until he discovered the handle to move the hoop up and down was missing! Ugh. But the hoop was still functional and we could adjust the hoop using a stick. Not ideal but worked. I emailed the Customer Service contact and provided the model number and part number (both located in the assembly guide) and they responded 3 days later. Asked for my address and phone number and shipped me a new piece at no cost. :) I will purchase Lifetime products again in my Lifetime! ;)

This gift came from Santa for our children. We paid to have it assembled, and after working on it for over an hour, the worker discovered that one of the parts (AAJ) was defective and unusable. When I contacted customer service, they did agree to send out a replacement. However, due to it being Christmas week, their shipping is closed until next week. They also cannot do anything to rectify that we will need to pay for assembly a second time. I’m sure once this is all taken care of, the hoop will be great, but overall, our experience has been a huge disappointment and waste of time and money.

The directions and pictures are horrible, I thought about dumping all in the trash place in town but it was closed at the time I wanted to load it in the truck. There were a couple small pieces missing and the lady that helped me was super nice and helpful
