This is my 5th Lifetime cooler !! I know that sounds silly but to be fair I own 3 boats so these double as extra seating as well. I could have bought a Yeti or other expensive roto-molded cooler but it boiled down to MY needs and those needs didn't include 10 days of ice retention. Nor did they include the desire to spend north of $400 for an ice cooler. I didn't get caught up in the cooler wars and bought a reasonably priced and adequately performing cooler..and then I bought another...and another..and....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is BUILT. The bear last night – we're talking a solid 200+ pounds of claws, teeth, and bad attitude – tried everything to crack it open. He dragged it 50 yards through rocks and roots, hurled it around like a football, and chomped down with enough force to bend rebar. The only "casualty" inside? My eggs got a bit... scrambled from the rough ride. Everything else – drinks, meats, veggies – stayed ice-cold and untouched. That's the kind of insulation and seal these Lifetime coolers deliver. Hopefully you can send me the replacement parts. The battle scars give it character
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this cooler a lot I've had it since I think 2018 or 19. I use it for work for bottles of water for the crew. It definitely hold ice for a while in the Texas heat. I just wish I could find a new gasket for the lid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this cooler several years ago and loved it so much we also bought a second one and then a third to give as a gift. It keeps the ice for days even in the heat. Much lighter than similar brands and easier to move around.
I use my Lifetime 55qt cooler mostly in the summer and it will hold ice for days!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with service all in one day new parts on the way.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cooler & the design but I do not like the latches. Supposed to be lifetime but the rubber breaks then there's no way to latch your cooler unless you're a handy person that can put ur own latches on it. For the price & name you shouldn't have to do that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to Colorado 3 ice chest 5 lid straps broke (well durn ) I used vice grips to hold the lid down. Durn !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned my 55qt for many, many years with no major problems until now. Too bad the rubber latches do not last as long as the cooler itself does and i wouldn't have to get another!
I bought this cooler in 2018 only used a half dozen times for the occasional fishing trip. The lid has warped and the body of the cooler has bowed. Really disappointing quality as I have 20 year old colemans that were a fraction of the price and they're still in good shape.
