Lifetime 7.5ft. – 10ft. Adjustable Height 54” Shatterproof Outdoor Portable Basketball System (90962)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family just moved into a new house and we were very excited about having the in-ground basketball hoop, and a high quality one such as Lifetime. When we were all moved in and I went to go play for the first time, I noticed that the height handle was damaged. I found the warranty and manual information left from the previous owners and contacted customer service. Even though the warranty was expired, they were still willing to work with me and ended up sending all of the necessary replacement parts free of charge. Very nice to see from a customer service stand point.

Overall great hope for the price. Was between this and a goalrilla. The lifetime hoop actually offered an easier adjustment bar. It's essentially the same when compared to the goalrilla model that's similar (backboard size, material, etc). My son loves it so far.

arrived on time in one secure box. every thing is as advertised, it even had a basketball included. It's strong enough for 'Grown men"

Great basketball hoop, I love that its adjustable for different ages. easy assembly and well constructed to last.

Decent in ground hoop for the price. Installation is a pain in the butt and 2 points where you have to be very very precise- lining up the vertical slats when placing the initial pole in the ground cement %26 when connecting the 2 poles. These steps aren't easy and we were off on our installation even though we thought we had it right- you can't go back and correct these steps. Also, no pre-drilled holes in metal to install plastic brackets around backboard.

Easy to adjust and install. Only gripe is that the backboard is very loud based on how it is supported. The whole neighborhood knows when my kids are playing basketball because of the sonic booms from the backboard

Box arrived in bad condition. Instructions on installation are not clear. It's a round pole where most are square these days so it's hard to find an adapter for installing into concrete with a nice base. It's made out of good material though. The material withstood what the box couldn't.

The instructions are missing steps 4.7 & 4.8. It makes the install process confusing. Had to look up the missing steps via the video resource.

Was shipped a goal that looked like it had been returned once already. Box was extremely beat up. After giving it a chance and opening the box, parts were missing and couldn't put it together if I wanted to. The backboard was scratched. Poles were nicked up. Terrible experience.

Missing a part out of the box after being shipped. It may be 2 months after I received it and we're just now getting around to put the basketball goal up but I'm missing a part so now I've got to get in touch with the company because it was not all shipped together. I'm the box looked a little rough so maybe it fell out you could tell where it have been taped back together but I still didn't get all the parts I needed I need a part of the post otherwise you can't erect it. They are supposed to be two of these posts pieces and there was only one in the box. See the picture I sent.
