Lifetime Daylite 8 ft Sit-On-Top Kayak with Paddle, Red (90775)

I just received the pair if kayaks and couldnt wait to try mine out. If you are looking for a basic kayak this is the one. I took it out on calm water and i had a great time. The paddels that come with it coukd be a little longer so you will get wet from water dripping on you. If you need a basic kayak I would recomend this one.

We purchased 2 of the 8ft kayaks for our boys ages, 13 and 10. These kayaks are very durable and lightweight. Easy for them to pick up and carry on their own. So far they have exceeded our expectations. One of the kayaks was missing a small clamp for the back rest so I called the company and they gladly sent the piece. Hoping to purchase another one that holds more weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ended up with the Daylite, as we wanted to purchase the 2 Kayak deal...but with coronavirus it was too long to wait. So, we were excited to be able to purchase at least one new kayak. So, now we have 3...with grandkids, we wanted the extra kayaks so they can join in the fun with us. Maybe in the spring will order yet another one. We LOVE our Lifetime Kayaks...so much fun, and we use ours at least 3-4 days a week during the spring, summer, and fall.

Lifetime has my business for my lifetime! I ordered my kayak online, and when it was delivered, through no fault of Lifetime, there was minor damage. One of the loop plug holes, where a rope handle is attached to, had been sheared off. It is a threaded piece that can be easily fixed. I called lifetime, and without hesitation, they sent me a new loop plug hole at no cost. I received the replacement part within three business days. The best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time! I love the kayak! The included paddle is of good quality. The handle cut out in the center makes it easy to carry a moderate distance. Seems well built and durable.

This took awhile to ship. When it came, it came with damage. I was super disappointed. It was only cosmetic so I decided to keep it so I didn't have to send it back and go through that headache. I was taking the risk of getting another more damaged. All in all, it floats, looks good and I love it! Customer service at lifetime was awesome! It comes with a 5 year warranty so that really puts my mind at ease. Make the purchase, you won't regret it!

I purchased the Lifetime Daylite since I have one already and it arrived damaged, with a huge denton about 4" wide and 2" deep on the keel, bow side. Walmart customer service was fantastic in arranging a refund and refund but I was told this item comes from a third party vendor therefore a replacement couldn't be arranged. I noticed how the employee from the delivery company handled the kayak when he came to pick it up for return and I have no doubt in my mind they caused the damage when they delivered originally.

I like that it arrived quickly, but I did not like that it was delivered with a deep scratch, that at this moment I don't know if the water enters through there. I did not return it because I had an RV travel the following date it was delivered. But I passed a hot screwdriver in top of it but I still don't know if that was goo enough because I never used because in my trip. The water was dirty. I hope it works.

It was a great kayak until the snap that hold the seat back came out DURING the first trip. I had no seat back and had to finish kayaking without anything to support myself. I have kayaked many times in the past and there was no undue strain or tension on the seat back. I would expect at some point there MIGHT be undue strain on the seat back and then do both pins fly out? I suppose you get what you pay for. I could probably fix it but I would expect it or the other side would pop loose again at another time.

Extremely disappointing...the packaging was ripped and the shipper covered it in a soot like powder. It transferred to my clothes and skin each time I tried touching it. I tried scrubbing but the black did not come off and was ground into the plastic! What if I wanted to gift it? It looks used! The pics I included are only showing it AFTER being scrubbed!
