i otdered but sadly had to return due to an accidental cancelation. i did but this product through dicks and it is worth the buy. the seat is so comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I love this boat, the seat straps and buckles need to get figured out by me as they became disconnected or loosened a couple of times over 1.5 hrs on the creek today. Looking forward to more challenging trips ahead.
Great product great price
I needed to replace the seat on my kayak. I was prepared to purchase the seat, but Darwin was able to offer the replacement free of charge. Terrific customer service!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've absolutely love my kenai pro kayaks from lifetime.. even bought a second one recently but to be quite honest I'm even more impressed by the customer service I've gotten!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kayak a few weeks ago and I use it almost every day. It's the best purchase I've made in a long time. The stability is great and it's comfortable.
My kayak needed a new seat. Dany was able to offer the replacement free of charge. Customer service doesn't get much better than that.
I got the kayak I saw the strap that was supposed to in the kayak was not in it so I have no way to hold stuff on it. I sent an email and I have not gotten a response
Item was received damaged. Had to meet the Estes truck in the Walmart parking lot. Driver was in a hurry and gave me no time to inspect product. Upon returning home with the product I had to quickly hide product as it was a Christmas gift. After the weather warmed up I was able to remove product from my shed. It was then I noticed a gash in the side of one of the kayaks (the one that had most of the plastic torn off the day I picked it up. The gash was approximately 6 inches long on the side.
Quality We purchased two of these Kenai 103 kayaks last month. I asked the store to open each one to assure nothing was missing as I've read multiple reviews of missing seat clips. The first one we opened was indeed missing one of the seat clips. We opened the second one to find it had a defect with the rear bungee cord not being connected to the kayak on one end…not something easily fixed due the size and location of the hole. The next two we loaded up and took home. When we unloaded them we found one missing the padded seat back cover! Unbelievably neither of the kayaks have the “Two Flush Mounted Fishing Rod Holders” as listed in the description and features sections on the website. Very disappointed in the lack of quality control in the manufacturing and assembly processes. Experience We thoroughly enjoyed getting to paddle over coral and through the mangroves until suddenly and unexpectedly, one of the seat clips let loose! Quite a surprise! Unfortunately, this continues to happen multiple times every time we take the kayak out. The clips are poorly designed and have an unneeded attachment between the buckle and the clip causing two chronic problems. 1) the clips easily come apart and get lost, rendering the seat back unusable. 2) the connection between the buckle and the clip is too weak and consistently pulls apart, causing the seat back to collapse unexpectedly. The bottom “seat cushion” lasted 3 days before tearing loose, exacerbated by the continual collapse of the seat back. The rod holders shown in the pictures are also missing!?! Summary The hulls are stable and appear to be durable for several years. Unfortunately, consistent with multiple other design issues, the side carrying handles are not placed at the center of gravity, prohibiting easy two person transport along the sides. The fishing rod holders are simply missing completely. Seat buckles and clips are notorious for coming loose and getting lost. Such easy to remedy design & quality control issues that significantly impact the enjoyment of an otherwise fun boat. Hopefully there'll be a few simple changes soon to address these major flaws.
