Lots of space

JudiT October 12, 2016

I purchased this shed as additional warehouse space for my business. It arrived pretty quickly with lots and lots of parts. The instructions are 80 pages long. It took over a week to get everything together. It is very nice, but do not expect it to be a 1 day project. Most of the instructions were very clear. I would suggest that you install it on a PERFECTLY FLAT surface. If you have any grade change on your base, you will have a struggle with some of the parts. Definitely need 2 people for the install.

love the features such aa hooks for wall, skylight

Misty April 12, 2019

As far as the instructions for the assembly, it was a nightmare!!! Manual sucks! I've assembled many things in the past, but this was the absolute worse. Wrong hardware and missing some, very confusing instructions and not boxed in order of assembly. Instructions in box 2 of 4. Roofing in box 1, Why? Shouldn't it be boxed in order of assembly!

Great so far

djw663 October 3, 2016

I am almost finished putting it together. I am putting it together by myself, I have about 12 hours into it with some interruptions. There have been a few challenges with the instructions and labeling of parts, missing the door window sealant, but nothing too bad. The roof is the only thing left for me to do. I have never put a shed like this together and I'm within the time they said it would take. They say 3 people 4-6 hours. so 12-18 hours man hours.

Bad customer sevice Great Shed

Bard August 15, 2017

I ordered my shed online from Sam's club and the 4 boxes were delivered on time and the driver help get them off the truck, as they were very heavy. I paid go- configure to assemble it. They were very nice and on time and fast but the people at Lifetime had failed to put in two pieces of the roof!!! It took over 30 minutes to get a human on the phone, they expedited the order. It did get here in four days then the installers came back out to install the pieces they had sent two of the same instead of a left and right then it took another two and a half week to finally get the one I needed, so the installer had to come out again. It took almost a month, Lifetime builds a great shed but there customer service is the worst. Please hire some more people to answer the phone and fire who ever is in charge of quailty control and get someone who know what they are doing!

8x20 shed for workshop

JAX2Shed February 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy with results. I assembled the shed, including site wood frame foundation in one week, by one person, using clamps as extra helpers. Hardest part was lifting and sliding the 20' long skylight onto the roof. I wish the manual included helpful hints about what not to do, as well as what to do. The video was quite helpful. I wish the manual's diagrams were larger, especially when detailing the parts. One issue learned is that plastic expands when warm or hot, so door alignment in the hot afternoon is quite different than cooler mornings and evenings.

Assembly Problems.

Ron01 April 23, 2019

I am an engineer with years of building experience. I followed the instructions carefully and all went well until I began placing the wall panels. The rear wall would not align with the mounting slots (off by over an inch); all panels were tapped in place, and the floor is level. I am currently talking to the manufacturer for assistance. At this time, I cannot recomend the product. It appears that it cannot be assembled and I either need assistance or the return of my money.

Nice sturdy shed!

DawnandSons June 11, 2018

My family and I assembled this in approx two days. Still have few screws that need to be placed in peak skylight that gets attached last. Some of the holes didn't line up real well and will need some pressure from the outside to attach them. Has rained a couple days and leaked a little around the rectangular skylights but will just tighten screws around the outside and that should take care of it. I'm a little OCD so i read instructions but also watched videos online to help trouble shoot any problems. I think helped too. The material that this was made withus really durable as we had an incident between the first and second day when we didn't have the roof trusses installed (it was dark but the time we could attach so we waited until next day), and the wind picked up and blew the corner wall between the doors over, but when I went out at 4AM to see what happened, the floor and wall was still attached but the floor had pulled up and bent completely over and I just pushed the wall back up and the floor went back to original position with no damage. I was happily surprised and greatly relieved! I would recommend this shed for that reason alone! Item shipped fine with no damage or missing parts. 5 stars!

poor construction, not easy to assemble

Gunny June 4, 2018

Missing parts had to call the company several times asking for help. The materials didn't attach as illustrated in the instructions and when the air temperature got above 90 degrees the inside temp reached 110 degrees that's when screws started falling out.
