Fairly easy to assemble.. written directions are kind of hard to follow but if you use the qr code and watch the video as you go, it's much easier.. it recommends 3 people but 2 was perfect.. it took about 8 hours total not including the base.. very sturdy and cute!
Great building for the money, easy to build it just takes a little time to assemble, check to make sure you have all parts bags and hardware before you start building read the instructions before starting, I built it myself without any help in about 8hrs. Build a 4x4 frame and use treated lumber and plywood for the floor or a concrete pad.
We expected to hire someone to assemble this shed but we did it ourselves (82 yr old man and 76 yr old woman). We did need our tall grandson for the roof - we are too short.
This is a gift to our mother for her 90th birthday. She loves to tend to her flowers, and she needed a place to store her garden supplies and wagon. We hung her nickname on the outside of the shed and plan to hang yellow (her favorite color) wreaths under each front window.
It took 2 of us about 8 hours to assemble it fully. I suggest following along with the YouTube assembly video that Lifetime has available for the shed. It is very nice for the price. My concrete slab behind my garage is a little uneven so getting all the panels and the roof to align was extra challenging. But it came together nicely. I like the color it’s a grey/dark grey. You definitely need a good drill for the thousand screws. I’m no pro at assembling things so if I can do it, anyone can.
We purchased Lifetime 8'x7.5' from Sam's Club. I'm 72 and my wife is 71 yrs. old. The 2 of us, from start to finish, put it together in 6 hrs. While watching a couple of You Tube videos, we would follow along with the directions, before we started. Everything went smooth, till we started putting the roof panels on. When trying to line up the panel, so the tit fit into the slot, on the truss was the hard part. I found using a welding vise grip was the ultimate saver. Just align the tit over the truss, put a block of wood on top of the roof panel and use the clamp to press it into place. Just do your homework before you start and you'll be so happy with your new shed.
Be prepared to spend a tremendous amount of time assembling. Bags are not marked well, instructions are so so. We had to review both the book AND the video. Also, the model displayed in the store seems to be an older model and is sturdier than what we got, especially the base. I would not buy again.
This shed it looks very nice, the Big Problem is putting it together, We watch the video, we read the manual like 3 times and keeping reading over in over, Until we finally got it. We built it together, But if you have extra money, pay for a professional to do it. 4 stars Because is a little confusing to put it together.
The instructions for assembling this shed are extremely good and we're very pleased with the outcome. It is well designed and the assembled shed looks really nice. The solid floor makes it so much better than a floorless shed, and leveling the doors was easily done with the provided shims. Plus this is made in the USA!
Love this shed! It was time consuming but easy to install. We started with the doors, adding the door accessories ie: handles, hinges etc. We then put the frame together. After the frame was finished, we added the roof and doors. Took us approximately 6 hours to put together. I suggest having two people to complete this project. It is very sturdy. I love the color, which is a dark gray but would have been satisfied if it was the brown that was shown on the website. It comes with a nice shelf and peg holders to hang my shovels and rakes.
