[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn't easy as video, but I found the way to alighn the screw holes. Light weight and easy to install.
Very nice...took several hours to assemble!!
Such an improvement over my old 8x8 wooded shed. Easy to follow instructions. Only hard part was the making sure corners locked into flooring, very difficult. Need to somehow make it more easier to puck corners into floor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in April and installed in May'26. Platform is stone, cinderblocks, runners & frame. Assembly was fine for the most part. However the QR codes for the video instructions that were provided were not that of the shed I purchased, so it made for quite a few confusing moments. A little elbow grease was needed for the final roof panel. The shims for door alignment worked perfectly. One of the light panels broke during installation. Hoping to get a new one sent to me soon. As a whole it feels very sturdy. I'm a bit confused as to why there aren't any support beams for the rear wall on the 8x10 shed but I supposed that's a job more suited for engineers. Pre-assembly and assembly took myself and partner 8 hours. Overall I'm happy with the purchase! We'll see how it holds up in the South West Pennsylvania seasons.
This is probably the 3rd or 4th of these 8x10 sheds that I put together or repaired. I loved these sheds till now. I am absolutely disappointed in the flooring of these newer models. The floor is everything in a shed and it is much worse in this one than the previous models. It feels very cheap; poorly made. The panels do not go together well with the tabs especially where they are folded together for shipping. They do not stay together. It seems Lifetime knew it was an inferior floor because they included screws to be used to screw the poorly designed tabs together but they only give you screws for half the tabs. The ones in the center are not designed to place a screw. Because of this new floor design, I will never buy another one of these sheds nor will I recommend. I needed to get this project done so I decided down the road I will probably install flooring on top of the included floor. Lifetime, back to R%26D on this one.
for the weight and size of this it should have been packaged together as thats where my problems may have came from. panels were warped upon opening, so i laid them out in the sun on a flat surface to try to get them as flat as possible, spent almost as much building the foundation as i did the shed only to spend 3 days with 2 grown men trying to get panels to fit together, then the roof was another nightmare in its self, nothing went well, seemed there are factory defects that do not allow panels and holes to properly, after all was done it had such a warp to the building that one door was over the top of frame, the other 3 inches below, i currently still have one panel that just will not fit properly keeping me from tightening the back wall down. this is my third lifetime i have bought and assembled, the first 2 were far better quality than this one, also much easier to assemble as all the holes lined up and the panels were not warped. if i hadnt spent so much time and money building the foundation and waiting on this to arrive them assembly, i would have most definitely returned it.
I am only writing this review to make buyers beware to not use Go Configure for install. We have had this shed sitting in our garage for over a month. I was unable to get an installation date for over 3 weeks. Everytime I called I was given the run around. Today they were supposed to come and install it and called me to cancel. We are beyond frustrated. We are looking to seek reimbursement for install. I wish we could just return the shed also at this point and start over.
The parts that didn't arrive were supports and skylights. Called to get replacements told will arrive in 6 days they still are not here. When it rains it gets inside of shed so had to buy a big tarp and it looks terrible
Received only one box out of the two, spent so much time with the support and the vendor to finally get them to understand that when you get a box labeled 2/2 , you should get the other one. Still no shed so far, terrible customer service !
We bought this shed in the belief that a plastic shed would literally last a “lifetime” but failed to consider that plastic cannot be adjusted. The doors on our shed, now 2 1/2 years old, do not close and have never closed, despite install of a new platform and professional assembly. Lifetime is now suggesting replacing parts and we hope that works, but this will be the third replacement of parts, and we are no longer confident. I would definately buy a wooden or metal shed if I was doing it again.
