Lifetime New Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop, 46 inch Polycarbonate (90584)

My wife and I put this together as an Easter gift to our boys. We are fairly handy and the build took just under three hours as reported by others. We enjoyed working on this project together and happy with how it turned out. The part of the build which was a bit confusing was connecting the height adjustment bars to the backboard. Also, connecting the backboard to the pole was a bit difficult to keep both areas level with each other when connecting the bolts. This would be a very difficult project for only one person because of it's sheer size. I would also recommend using work horses for a portion of the build as recommended in by another reviewer. Other than that the build was straightforward and instructions were decent. Keep in mind tools are required for this build including several wrenches of different sizes, a Philips screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and a block of wood. It is also recommended to buy the gel base to use when filling the base with water. The gel base turns the water into a 400lb gel which ensures the safety of the basketball hoop from failing over.

Worth every penny. We've already made great memories together shooting hoops. Good instructions to put together and great quailty.

We are super pleased! Easy to put together, my teen son did it. Withstood high winds and did not topple over. Great for teen s or even the little crowd as the height adjusts. Well built

I was not a fan of the instructions to put this product together. The whole in the base to put the sand is A little too small. It took forever to fill the base with sand. I was very happy with the quality of The rest of the basketball are set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement to another lifetime goal we had for 15 years. So far so good. Setup was almost super easy and goal seems nice so far. It's a little load on the backboard when shooting. The sound when the ball hits is a bit loader than the last lifetime goal we had but it's works good so far.

This is a GREAT goal for the price. You definitely need a helper when assembling it. The instructions had terrible photos, and we had to undo a couple of steps to assemble it correctly. Even with fixing our errors, the assembly only took an evening. Highly recommend the gel powder in the base with your water to stabilize the goal. The goal is rather "cheap" but absolutely functional. Because of the quality and the instructions, 4/5 stars, but would purchase again.

perfect size for my 12 year old daughter easy to set up, After we assembled it, we tried to put water to hold down the weight of the court, so it wouldn't tip over and the black thing that holds the water has a hole so we had to buy sand was a huge mess so we just stacked the sand bags on the back of it cant take down to return so its here to stay

Everything is great about this basketball goal. The only downside is that when i purchased this product, the plexy glass for the backboard was not glued to the actual frame of the goal. I tried calling them on numerous occasions and have not received a call back yet!

Bought it to bring home and be able to assemble and then play basketball with my son. Only to open the box start assembling and the backboard was completely separated from the frame.
