Lifetime Outdoor Durable Polystyrene Convertible Bench, Harbor Gray (60253)

We bought 4 of these benches for a new deck we are building. They are made of sturdy metal and, as advertised are easy to change from bench to table top. I built them by myself and I was having difficulty installing the bolts under the bench seat and table top/bench back. However, I realized that you could “tip” the bench on it’s side and get full visibility to the “holes” for these bolts (see picture). With this tip (sorry for the Dad joke)...I was able to build the second bench in less than 1 hour.

I bought two bench convertible tables. YouTube helped with the assembly. First bench took longer to assemble than the second. Felt accomplished once we finished the assembly. You need two people for the assembly. Narrow areas to apply screws so small hands helps. I am very happy with this purchase.

Arrived early, easy to assemble, quality material, easy to move from bench to table, would order again!

Last year we bought a charcoal set for the backyard and it is great so this year we bought a beige set for the front porch. I love the way they convert into a picnic table. I love how sturdy they are., they are fantastic

Great bench! Not awesome instructions, and we are seasoned assemblers of boxed items. It’s really sturdy and the lever to raise lower the “table” portion works well. We may invest in another next summer so we can enjoy the picnic table arrangement. Overall, highly recommend if you have assembly skills (or know someone who does)!

It arrived quickly and was well packed. It only took my husband 45 minutes to unbox and assemble this bench. The instructions were simple to understand. The supplied tools (wrench and allen wrench) are not great, so we used our sockets and wrenches, which made it a bit easier. The bench is comfortable, and it is easy to convert from bench to table top. This bench works great on our dock because flipping the back to a flat surface helps keep the wind from blowing it off the dock.

Honestly just got it yesterday and haven't put it together, but I have seen the product before and know it is going to be great for our needs.

Received the bench but didn't open it for several days. The box looked to be in good condition considering the weight. I opened the box today to put it together and found that the bench is damaged with a crack to one of the slates. I was bummed out. Not sure if Walmart will just replace the one piece. I fear someone will tear clothes on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screws holding the plastic slats started to fall out because of rusting. Replacement screws don't bind. Slats stick up. anyone got a workaround? This bench won't be a "Lifetime" asset!
