Lifetime Wave 6 Foot Youth Kayak with Paddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the perfect size for me I'm 5'4 and can lay down and take a nap on the water if I want to! But I also use it for fishing and it works great!

I purchased 2 kayaks as Christmas gifts for my granddaughters in 2016. One of them had a seam that split after the first year and caused it to take on water. I was unaware of the issue for a few years. When I reported the problem to Lifetime (3 years and 11 months after purchasing it) they honored their lifetime warranty and set up an order to replace the kayak at no charge the next day.

My parents bought this for my children (ages 3-10) and they have gotten so much use out of it!! Lightweight, holes for draining, carrying handle, easy to maneuver, sturdy and when my kids broke the paddle rough-housing, Lifetime sent a replacement free of charge!

Works out great for my 7 year old. Pretty light and Easy to carry and very easy to maneuver, even for a small child. It is possible to attach a seat with all for straps attaching to hooks in front of seat area.. or u can add two more hooks in the back if u dont want seat to flop when not sitting in it

My boys really enjoy playing in these kayaks and use them all the time in the Intracoastal near our house. On one kayak, the plug broke and went inside the kayak. I emailed Lifetime to ask how I could order a new plug. Within a day they emailed me back asking for product info and the following day offered to ship me replacement plugs free of charge. I'm always impressed when a company stands behind their products like this. Thank you.

I was extremely impressed. I have written/called other companies in the past with NO reply, so I didn't have high expectations. I plan on future purchases from Lifetime and I've already told friends about your fantastic customer service (with eight grandchildren, you just can't have too many kayaks!).

We had an issue with the kayak and submitted a warranty claim through the Lifetime website. The customer service representative, Ian, was outstanding. He was courteous and competent, he understood our issue and provided a replacement product quickly. We could not ask for anything more. Ian is a credit to the company and we will buy more Lifetime products because we know the company stands behind their products!

I just bought this kayak for my child who has never kayaked before. She and her friend got the hang of it almost immediately. It's easy to use and transport. Also, one of the plugs at the back of the kayak was missing. Customer Service got right on it and shipped me a new one right away. I am so happy I made this purchase.

Unfortunately, the paddles arrived with the ends flattened during shipping, so the paddle could not be assembled. Ian at customer service honored the guarantee and is replacing the paddle. The kayak itself is fine and works great, we had to borrow a neighbors paddle.

Great boat overall for small paddlers - very stable, easy in and out they have lots of fun … just remember to try and empty the hollow hull of water when done or seal cracks with caulking or tape- very small just a bit of water inevitably gets in
