If you're rushed in the morning, or not feeling well, drinking a small glass of Lifeway Blueberry Kefir as simple as it gets! It's delicious and surprisingly filling. Tastes like real Blueberries, not like fake blueberry flavoring. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but I need something in my stomach in the morning because I have to take meds %26 vitamins. This Blueberry Kefir tastes like a yummy Blueberry yogurt milkshake! ATTN LIFEWAY: PLEASE MAKE A HIGH PROTEIN VERSION! Thanks :)
My husband started drinking this kefir yogurt drink years ago after his doctor recommended it for better gut health. He actually likes the taste and has made it part of his daily routine. It's gentle on his stomach with no bloating or gas at all. It's been a dependable choice for him.
When I first read about how healthy kefir is to drink, I tried making it... HA! that did not work. This kefir may seem expensive, but it actually lasts quite a long time. I use it when I take turkey tail mushroom powder - it's great for that. If I'm ever totally bushed after doing a lot more than maybe is wise, I have some and it perks me right up. But mainly I drink kefir for the good gut bacteria, for my immune system.
My kids and I love starting our mornings with a glass of kefir before anything else—it has quickly become a family ritual. Not only is it creamy and refreshing, but it's also packed with powerful probiotics that support our overall well-being. One of the standout strains in kefir is *Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuteri)*. What makes *L. reuteri* so special is the wide range of health benefits it offers. It helps restore balance in the gut, easing digestion and supporting nutrient absorption. Beyond digestive health, research shows that *L. reuteri* can strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, and even encourage the production of oxytocin—the “feel-good” hormone that's linked to lower stress and improved emotional well-being. Some studies also suggest it plays a role in heart health and may even contribute to better skin. For me, knowing that a simple glass of kefir each morning provides all of these benefits makes it more than just a drink—it feels like an investment in my family's long-term health. My kids love the taste, and I love knowing I'm giving them something nourishing that supports both body and mind. Kefir with *L. reuteri* has truly been a game-changer for us, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to improve gut health, immunity, and overall vitality in a natural, delicious way.
Many grocery stores only carry Lifeway Kefir and typically there are limited options but a great option regardless. I drink kefir daily and I absolutely love it. I used to have a yogurt daily or even those tiny probiotic yogurt drinks until I found out how much better Kefir is. Plus you can add stuff to it or use it in other things such as overnight oats.
This is THE BEST Blueberry kefir that I've purchased. I do have to give fair warning to those who have never had kefir before and expect it to taste like yogurt - it doesn't, at least to my tastebuds. I'd describe it as an acquired tart taste, but I buy it for all the gut health benefits and love it for that. If it's too tart/sour for you, take it as a shot or use it in a smoothy. Pretty soon I bet you'll be a fan too. I like both the Blueberry and the Strawberry flavors best.
This is great way to get probiotics, I simply add to my morning smoothie, but it also tastes great by itself. Have been using this product for years, and its always tastes consistent.
I normally prefer this brand organic line, but when that is not available, my choice of the un organic ones is the blueberry flavor. It's very good and not too sweet. I would recommend it.
I like some lightweight Kiefer and I buy several brands of Kiefer. I like tropical or peach primarily. The blueberry was given to me as a substitution at the last minute and it was closed out before I had a choice so I tried it. It's very sour and tasteless. It did not have a strong blueberry or fruit flavor. Other life products are very good quality in this taste like a good quality yogurt, but very, very sour without other redeeming features I don't expect it to be sugary or therapy, but I would like it to have a distinctive fruit presence appeared to have minimal powdered blueberry in it, and just not a lot of flavor at all
I love this product and buy it at least once a week sometimes twice a week. The blueberry and strawberry are the best in my opinion. However, I give a low star not for the manufacturer but for the pick up employees or whoever handled this product. I will attach a photo, but both of my Kiefer are frozen, both chunky and one so much that the bottle has expanded. Kiefer is not supposed to freeze so it's unusual and now unusable. I'm guessing either it was in a cooler that was turned too low, or once the items were picked, it was sitting against a freezing surface while it was stored or possibly put in a freezer on accident. Not sure. But any type of swollen food packaging is unsafe to consume regardless. I will call and let Pickup know that this happened.
