This bed ruffle matches the picture in color perfectly - now as another reviewer stated, once installed (super easy, no removal of mattress or bedding required) this leaves smooth flat coverage, not ruffles - as this is for clean lines man's room, this ended up ideal. There are 2 sturdy elastic bands holding up with no sagging, and the head edge is open for a headboard or wall. The fabric is thin but not see thru, and bedskirts are not an often messed with item- such an upgrade from the days of laying the mattress on top. Very pleased with my purchase

where to begin the color is nice the fabric is very flimsy and I have never ironed anything in my entire life that as soon as you ironed it tons of little wrinkles appeared on the fabric it took me forever to iron this smooth because I had to stay in one spot for a long time. the picture shows tons of Ruffles by the time you get it on it's more like a European bed skirt there's hardly a ruffle once it stretched out and put on. I wondered if it would work since I don't have a box spring but it worked well on my metal 18 inch bed frame. which I recommend for everyone get rid of your box spring and have tons of storage under your bed it's absolutely amazing Walmart even carries them. I was going to return it but I'm tired of returning things and it's like who's going to get down on their hands and knees and inspect the quality it serves the purpose it covers up all my stuff under my bed. so I think I would look elsewhere if you want a bed skirt
