Yummy

Lakeshia September 1, 2024

The hot dogs were a really great substitute. My made plant based chili, because I was craving a chili cheese hotdog. I highly recommend. They have the texture of meat. Boil or pan fry them.

HUGE FAN

Jessica April 21, 2026

Love these! They're very much like regular hot dogs. They don't have an outer casing, but you can't beat the overall similarity and good taste for the price. I haven't had a better vegetarian hot dog. I've tried MorningStar hot dogs and I didn't find them to taste any better or be worth the price. I like that these are refrigerated and you can eat them right out of the package. I like these overcooked a bit in the microwave so the outside has more of a bite. I'm sure they'd be gnarly good cooked on a grill! I'll have to try them on my George Foreman grill.

Best Plant Based Hot Dogs

Patsy March 5, 2026

I have been a vegetarian for over 50 years. These are all I could ask for in a plant based hot dog. They are easy %26 fast to heat up. The boiling water method is the best, just follow the directions. If you heat them too long they do get a little tough. I often freeze half the pac k. Be sure to let them thaw before heating or, again, they will get a little tough from being over cooked.

Very Tasty

Terry March 23, 2026

If you are looking for a healthy hot dog that tastes like the ones you will find at your finest baseball park and still be a healthy alternative you are not likely going to find it soon. But I tried this one and so far it's the next best thing. Good taste and texture, easy to make. Great hog dog!

These are the best meatless hotdogs of all I have tried, but it helps if u prepare them so the outside gets a bit crispy. U can do this in a skillet or do like I do and put some vegetable oil on the outside and put in my George Foreman grill or panini press. I have fooled meat eaters with these.

Tasty, good vegan product.

H December 7, 2025

These taste very good. I use them in pea soup, lentil soup, make them with sauerkraut, and they taste good cooked sliced on a sandwich with mustard. If you add a little olive oil or similar to the pan when cooking them, then they taste almost exactly like a regular hot dog. I am thinking of making vegan Teawurst with them by mashing them and adding barbecue smoke sauce, spices, and similar. I also use these to make vegan homemade chili and I have been eating these for many years, and I would give them five stars if they were organic.

Poor texture

anonymous September 8, 2025

I've bought this product in the past and from time to time the texture is fine but the majority of the time that I buy this product from Walmart the texture is horrible. I'm not sure if it takes a long time for it to be refrigerated before stocking on shelves or what, but the texture is grainy and mushy. Unlike the familiar firm texture it usually has.

Plasticky texture

Amanda October 25, 2025

I have to review this to remind myself not to buy them again. First, they taste gross. I was able to mix them into some other things to hide the nasty flavor. Most of them I cut up and put them in brown rice with black beans. The texture is hard to hide, though. The outer perimeter of each hot dog is thick and plasticky. It's hard to cut and hard to chew. It feels like they came out of a microwave, but I don't own a microwave. I wish I could get a refund just for how nasty they are.

The Worst Ever

TUESDAYSGONE818 December 8, 2025

These were absolutely disgusting. I can eat just about anything. not in this case. it was like the skin of a hot dog filled with a paste inside that reminded me of my cat's fancy feast pate. who are these people saying they are good. i fed mine to the critters. 🤮
