It is very sharp need to be very careful while using it. For me, it worked better than that $50 safety mandolin, because I can slice whole potato, whole onion and slice a plantin long way. I don't have to cut anything in half or 1/4 just to fit in a small tube.

I like the fact that it is easy to use easy to take apart and easy to put back together. whoever buys this and uses it you have got to exercise extreme caution when you get down to a minimal amount of vegetable or fruit that you are slicing the blade is unbelievably sharp

This thing is very very very sharp. DO NOT use it without the safety holder.

Loved the different sizes and lock for safety

Not made well. The plastic flat areas that hold the blade come loose and it falls apart. If /When I can get it to stay together it works well, but only has 2 working thickness choices because it falls apart when trying to adjust the third.

Well, first of all the top slide part kept falling out when I tried to slice an onion. Then I had to cut up the onion with a knife and it still kept falling apart. I didn't even get one slice of onion no matter what I tried. I was very disappointed in the product.

Slices so thin it destroyed my tomato. Was a pile of mush

it is very cheaply made and only slices things really thinly. you cannot adjust for more thickness. It is very flimsy and narrow. I couldn't believe how narrow it was. I would invest in a little more money to get a better product.
