Lily Sugar'n Cream Medium 100% Cotton Emerald Energy Yarn, 706 yd

I'm crocheting a king size blanket in the shell stitch. It's working up in a beautiful pattern. This project is ongoing because king size takes me while to finish. Lily yarn is high quality and has many different colors to choose from. I do set my finished work so the colors don't run. And you do have to pay special attention to washing instructions. But that's true for most cottons. To find out how to set your finish work so the colors don't run , Google has some very good instructions for that.

Lily Sugar N Cream is one of the two brands I use for cotton dishcloths and I am always happy with the results.

Love this 100% cotton yarn. It is sturdy, no separation, crochets nicely into coasters glasses, doilies! I love the colors and the cone is a great value.

The cone size is an amazing value, the yarn is washer/dryer friendly, and the yarn is so versatile! I mainly use it for clothing, but ive also used it to make houshold items like tea towels and dish cloths.

Beautiful vibrant color just as advertised. The quality of this yarn is predictably excellent. It is exactly as advertised. I use it to crochet bags and baskets. I often double it up or combine with an acrylic yarn for increased weight and/or softness.

I think this is a fantastic utilitarian cotton yarn and I especially use it for making kitchen items. I use a great deal of it and it's fantastic that it comes in the cone- it's a great amount for a great price. This also wears well for things like kitchen wash cloths. It's an important part of my stash for sure!

... but quite a bit thinner than other brand and way too many knots!

The selection picture and visual screen shot of this yarn show's a definite "middle tone / shade of a lavender" colour ... Called,, over cast. ,, What I got was a very strange shade of a gray! Certainly not what was shown for purchasing! I am not a novice at selecting /purchasing yarn,,, but certainly was disappointed at not receiving what I assumed was being sent .
