I received so many compliments about how attractive the centerpiece was and I just placed it on a Christmas stocking with a flameless votive candle inside. The piece is not flimsey in any way and easy to open to put in the candle. I did not use a real candle however so cannot comment on that. There is ample room to put something inside like holly but it really doesn't need anything else.

I love these lanterns, I purchased three: Pickford, Windale(this one),and Ellington. They are absolutely stunning. I have them on a sofa table and when people walk in the room within minutes they comment on how beautiful they are. _x000D_ I use a flameless votive (not tea light) and it looks stunning at night. _x000D_ I am so happy with my purchase, they were supposed to be my Christmas gift, but I couldn't wait. I bought this as a gift for a friend who used to reside in the UK. She just loves it! The beveled glass causes the light to glow beautifully within the holder and project outside of its surroundings softly. It is sturdy, well made and beautifully hand decorated. I am thinking of getting one for myself and may continue the collection for my friend with the other lanterns you have for sale as well. Thank you!

I use the "terrarium" on my stairway. After buying the rest of the group, I bought the LED tea lights that come on at 6pm and go off at 10pm. I love them! I don't have to worry about not turning them on or off. There are no electrical cords to start fires or trip over. I can't say enough good things about these items.

This was a Christmas present for my sister. It was smaller than we thought and to delicate. When she opened the little door it snapped off and was in her hands. My brother-i-law said he can solder it back on but REALLY!!! Come on. It isn't like she is going to be rough with it. She has a house full of more delicate ANTIQUES that she takes great pride in.
