Should have purchased a long time ago
Works as advertised! Fits good and went on without any struggle. Should have purchased one a long time ago. Much easier on the shoulder for my 270. I put over the existing butt pad so it does add to the length of pull but it was easy for me to compensate for the increase.

Superb Product for Reducing Felt Recoil
Excellent Product for reducing felt recoil. Walmart's price is very competitive in comparison to other sources. I own the Classic version as well as this version (Airtech) of the Slip-On Limbsaver. Both work excellent but I must admit I prefer this newer model better. I contacted SIMS directly to ask what the difference between the two was because they both read the same. I was told this version (Airtech) is supposed to be a little better at reducing felt or perceived recoil. Both versions are excellent however!I do prefer the way this one sits against the butt of the synthetic rifle stock on my Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 rifle better than the Classic version. The original factory butt pad felt soft to push on with a finger, but when shooting it felt more like a hockey puck. With the Limbsaver installed it is more like a shove than a sharp jab to the shoulder. The Slip-On versions provide ease of installation and removal for use on multiple firearms. I do advise removal from wood stocks during storage to prevent any discoloring of the wood. On Synthetic stocks this shouldn't be an issue.

A shoulder saver, for sure
I'm using this on an antique 45/70 that kicks like getting hit by a freight train. this pad saves a LOT of bruising.

Works well! H%26R Model 088
I knew what size I needed because I had tested a friend's out. I put it on my single shot 12 gauge, which is really lightweight and hurts to shoot, and it helps. Definitely recommend if you've got something that is very painful to shoot that you'd rather not be dissuaded from using every time you're trying to decide what to bring to the range. This size Medium fits great on the H%26R Model 088.
