you dont need to grease the pans, the bread cooks evenly and you can use for different tyoes of breas too.
These were pretty neat. My husband made some bread using these loaves. You can rest the dough inside with the cover and put them in the fridge until you're ready to bake. They make perfect size loaf for sandwich bread. He use the lid when he baked it so it was perfectly square. The only thing is the edges on the lids that slide on and off can be a little sharp so you gotta be careful if I have any more to add to this later on I will update my review

I make sour dough bread but instead of the usual round loaf I like to use a loaf pan. This one looked real interesting and was recommended by one of the websites that have sourdough recipes. It didn't have instructions with it so I got on line and read up on it and received some good tips. I use it once a week and every loaf comes out evenly browned and delicious. If you use the lid it will come out a flat top loaf like sandwich bread at the store. If you bake without the lid it will form like a regular loaf pan does. It washes up easily.
These pans are great for making regular sized sandwich bread loaves. They are non-stick and, at 350 to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, make perfect crust. Be aware that, if you use the lid to make a square loaf, using too much dough will cause your loaf to push up against the lid and potentialy make it hard to open. The only drawback I can find is the color. On the website, they looked mostly grey, but they are definitely more gold/champagne than grey. If, like me, you don't really care what color they are as long as they bake bread well, you will probably love these pans. Pleas note: these pans are only 8 inches long. If you want to bake a "full length" loaf that is closer to 12 inches, you will need to order the other pan from the website.
These are smaller than I expected, but they truly resemble the pan described. I'm eager to try them out.
