This doesn't slow it down at all though we found older plugs and use it this to charge all devices at the same time. No more battles over who gets the block.

It's small and sleek; unobtrusive. I can plug in any number of kids' tablets or phones or gaming headsets or whatever and they charge in a similar timeframe as a good quality charging brick. I also like the fact that it has three pronged plugins too. If I want to plug something in to test it while at my desk I can without getting underneath/behind the desk. I've owned plug-into-the-wall multiple USB outlet chargers before, but they divided the output to the point where you might as well charge one thing at a time. You were basically going to wait the same amount of time' no matter what. This charger powers multiple devices simultaneously.
