Great Machine!

Leroy J February 18, 2023

Got this about a month ago, and so far has worked really good for me. I mainly use it for stick and flux core, it's duty cycle is 60% so it's pretty nice. I've done a couple small projects around the house and it works great! Would definitely recommend.

Great starter welder.

JmonB January 24, 2022

Bought this about a month ago, my boys and I (13 & 12) have already practiced stick welding. I bought the argon and argon CO tank to try TIG and MIG welding. Save the money on a community college "welding class" get this machine, watch some youtube how to videos and get started!

Great little welder

Perrinbrewing June 6, 2019

Puts down a good consistent bead using the shoulder wire as well as gas and standard steel wire. Also have ran some stainless wire and it puts down a great bead on 1/8” stainless.

Small but convienient with multi-potential

productioneer December 24, 2020

I bought this welder for portable aluminum welding. I could not find a AC TIG machine that was this portable for welding small aluminum projects. Also it runs on 120 volt power which adds to its convenience and portability.

Perfect welder

Adamlay August 19, 2022

I absolutely love this welder, absolutely worth the money. This welder is just as smooth as a Miller in my opinion. Also comes with wire which is really nice.

Good welder with lots of positive reviews

Brew445 January 29, 2022

Just received so havent setup and used this unit yet but looking forward to it. I purchased because Lincoln is a good brand and my plasma cutter uses a Lincoln unit. Expectations are high for this product and I will post more once I have been able to work with it.

Small package, big punch

Steveofgeorgia January 12, 2020

This little machine is a perfect for beginners as well as professionals. Adjustments are easily made, the lack of tons of knobs and switches makes you feel comfortable. I have not used the TIG setting yet but I can't wait to see how it performs. With all the welding options and the low price this machine is definitely best in class. Only gave 4 stars because the TIG torch was not included in the package. I would have rather paid an extra hundred dollars to get it all in one package.

Handy 120v welder

Matt S November 12, 2020

Good 120v MIG. Have only used flux core wire so far, so I can't speak to the GMAW features yet, but it runs a smooth arc using .035 flux core. This machine has a better duty cycle than most 120v MIGs on the market. It will pop a 20A circuit breaker when set at the top couple amperage settings if you do more than short (1") beads. But works great for tacking thicker pieces together. Run off the 30A outlet on my portable welder, I just have to pay attention to the duty cycle, not popping the breaker. It will operate just fine on a 15A breaker as long as you're only welding thinner sheet metal and don't push it with long beads. This welder shines welding 16ga to 3/16" material, but with .025 and gas, it can handle 24ga or thinner, depending on the operator. It does struggle with thicker (3/8"+) metal, but that's not what it's designed for. I've run several other makes of 120v MIGs, this Lincoln LE31MP is head and shoulders above the others. Looking forward to using the spool gun and getting the TIG torch for it. Quality construction, typical of Lincoln welders (I've had several other Lincoln welders over the past 40 years). I expect this one to last and perform for years.
