These gloves get the job done well, keep me protected when stick welding or mig welding. Especially good since they are like $5 cheaper than at Lowe's. Can't keep me away from Northern tool, great store. Beware if you like tools you're gonna spend money on great tools every time you go.
These gloves wear well and really protect from the heat of welding. I'm welding aluminum and the only time I feel any heat through these gloves is when I grab a piece of metal that's still a little too hot.
Im 77 and have been using and buying Lincoln webbing gear and equipment for many years. In my opinion, Lincoln makes the best wedding equipment around. I go thru a pair of webbing gloves about every 10 years, so If these hold up as good as previous ones, I should get another 10 of use…if I live that long.
I bought a month ago and have used about a dozen times without any sign of wear. They fit good and at this rate will last a couple years with no problem.
The gloves are economical and functional. I use them for everything from picking up spiny plant parts to tending fires.
We use these gloves for adding wood to our fireplace. They're perfect because of their length, and heat resistance.
Very good quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The gloves are really thick and insulate very well. My only drawback is that the inner liner starts to come loose after a while hence the reason I buy another pair.
These gloves were a repeat purchase because they work well when I'm stoking my wood stove (which I do a lot in the winter). However I had forgotten the nasty chemical smell that slowly fades over a month or two. Smells and probably is unhealthy. But the gloves are functional.
These gloves are good for doing just hobby welding.I bought these for my high school welding class. They are pretty durable and are comfortable. The down side of these gloves is that they heat up really fast. I tried using these for flux core welding and i started melting/burning the glove on my support hand. Id recommend these if your going to try your hand at arc or mig welding, but anything more, your just better off getting a quality heavy duty pair from a welding supply shop.
