My 4 year old son loves this toy. He enjoys putting the tracks together himself and trying to build the diffent buildings and objects that are included with the instructions. The possible combinations of designs are almost endless. I really like that the tracks are very sturdy and really easy to put together. A great toy to encourage your child to use their imagination. I also like that it's well made and would be difficult to break.

This is a very nicely made set. My kids love putting things together and making things work, so this has been great fun for us. The logs are great quality. Smooth all around, no chance of splinters or cuts whatsoever. The train is super cool (my kids loves trains and Thomas so we pretend it's Thomas). I would definitely recommend this set. My two are 3 and 5. They'll play/build with this set for a long while. I'm planning to buy more to add to the set for Christmas.

Received from spark review. This set can be put together easily. Read the Manual and get started to having fun. The pieces attach easily. I wish the pieces were numbered underneath making assembly much easier. No sharp edges, real wood logs! I took the pieces out of the bags and let the kids put it together. This is nice set and a great gift! Highly recommend

My daughter loves this push and go train. The sawmill express train set contains over 100 pieces, including buildable track, a train engine and car, plus doors, windows and roof eaves that add color and character to the station building and train Depot that you can build to put together. Also comes with a cowgirl, a train engineer, and a horse. Easy instructions to put together or build your own.

I had set this up for my son before he saw it for the first time. He's 4 years old and he absolutely loved it! The instructions for building it were simple for me, maybe not a 4 year old though. He gets creative with the pieces and builds his own buildings. He's spent hours playing with this set. The Lincoln Logs are durable pieces of wood and the other pieces are plastic, which may not be as durable. My son absolutely loves the train set with the cowgirl and especially the horse. Great set! I'd recommend!

This set is so fun and engaging for kids and adults! It's a fun bonding time being able to build and talk about all the different story lines they come up with. My 4.5 year old does get annoyed that the houses fall down easily but the track stays together well. I would definitely recommend!

My baby nephew will love this beautiful train set! He loves trains as it is. So with this one he can build it any way he wants and just gots plenty of options to choose from and it's made with real wood so the a plus because he's all boy! His trains fit right on it and he seems to play with it for long periods of time!

This is a cute little set, but it was kind of hard for my little ones to understand how to put them together and once they would get the track together they had a hard time keeping the train on the tracks. So, while it was a good idea in theory it needs to be a bit more sturdy since children 3 and up are possibly going to be putting this together. My older son could easily put this together and follow the predetermined possibilities for this set, but my 3 yr old could not. Definitely not made for children starting at the age of 3. Other than those issues, the colors are nice on the pieces.

OMG I can't wait to get down on the floor with the little and indulge my second childhood as we play with these Lincoln logs. Such a cute set, especially like the sturdiness of the plastic pieces I love the rustic real wood logs. Definitely not good for chilldren under the age of 3.
