I used this tape to reinforce the worn page edges of a daily-use prayer book. Print is still visible through the tape, and color and texture are almost invisible on the fine paper pages.

Great for book repair

I had tears in my Bible and the pages are very thin. This worked perfectly and I can hardly tell it's there, except the tear is gone!

I bought this for my mom's 30 year-old bible after doing some restoration research and it has worked wonders. If you own a bible you know how delicate the pages are and this tape is very close in thickness to the original pages. the way this tape works is that you can lift and adjust as many times as you need without fear of ripping the pages. Once you have the tape in the position you want you can use a bone folder or just pressure to "lock" the tape in place. The great thing about this tape is that it's almost clear, the texture feels very similar to the page, you can hardly feel it, and it's archival, meaning over the years it won't yellow, and it's reversible with mineral spirits. I'm not sure how it works on colored pages, but it's 10/10 for bible pages.
