I had a clean spray bottle. Mixed the product. Sprayed my clothes the night before and then sprayed my clothes a little bit before steaming and it looked like it came from the cleaners. Yes, I made the right choice.
I wish they kept it in-store instead of me having to order it. But I understand why they don't because not many people iron as much as they did years ago.
Works great. I used it to make slime, so if one knows how to do that, there's nothing better. If one is just a beginner, there's definitely a learning curve. But use a quality activator like Linit Liquid Starch and it will help get you experienced quicker and with far less frustration. Start with small batches and don't overccorrect when the mixture is too dry or wet. Linit is very forgiving if you allow it to be.
It's concentrated so I have to figure out the best water/starch ratio for spraying quilt strips that won't scorch when pressing, otherwise it works great. Fabric is crisp, helps increase accuracy of rotary cutting
needed a professional grade stiff starch...this starch is perfect for cloth purses and crafts...i use it in all my work.. no smell..non flaking strays easily...holds up all season..
I use to buy the other brand that you cant find easily and its crazy expensive. I am getting back into quilting so I bought this. I was pleasantly surprised. I used 6 Parts Distilled Water. 1 Part Liquid Starch Then I add about 1-2 teaspoons of Downy Rinse and Refresh. I use a small spray bottle at my ironing board. I highly recommend this. Its perfect for adding a light starch to your sewing.

Oh how I miss the good old days when liquid start was $3 a bottle. This is a good replacement for StayPUff liquid starch. I use it for my linens and pillowcases. Tried mixing my own wth corn start but it scorched on my iron. This does a fine job creating crisp linens, but it is really expensive.
This is comparable to the Staflo starch. Not as stiff but it is a great replacement.
Why did it cost me 2587 when last time I ordered it was 1805
