This phone does it all: it has an answering machine, it not only shows caller ID but speaks the name of the caller, as well; it programs our cell numbers in so that when our cells ring, they also ring on the Panasonic. I haven't figured out yet how I can get it to rub my feet, but that's all it doesn't do. And so far, it has worked without any glitches.

I have an older cordless Panasonic phone system that is still going strong after 5 years. I needed additional phones so I wasn't having to run downstairs all the time. This brand and model is excellent. Easy to set up, easy to use and the clarity and range is excellent! Excellent value, excellent product. Panasonic has been rated #1 and it is easy to see why.

The phone offers a really nice set of features at a great price. The battery backup during power failures and the blue tooth pairing with my cell phone were the two selling points for me. Both work well and as advertised. My only complaint is that the phone book, in this Panasonic generation, is less accessible than in the prior generation, requiring an extra button push. Really only a minor annoyance, but a puzzling regression in usability.

Received the new set last week and am pleased with the clarity and range provided by the system. Phone was easy to setup. haven't attempted to setup the cell phone feature yet but will do at a later date.

Works as described. If you want to cut your landline and have extensions to your cell phone throughout your house, this product will do the job. I connected mine to an Iphone 5 and it works well. There is a small echo on the extensions, but the convenience of having whole house connectivity is worth the investment. I was able to port my old landline number to the Iphone so callers don't notice any difference.

Will be given as a gift in a few days so I haven't used it yet but have used Panasonic cordless phones in the past with great results (may update to 5 stars after its been in use for a while). Phone was chosen because it has a call block capacity of 250 numbers. Great feature in this time of repeat phone scammers. This 4 phone choice is the sweet spot because of minimal mark up above the 3 phone choice. The volume of the handsets can be adjusted individually so that phone in bedroom rings quieter than other phones. Also has option to cancel the phone from calling out the incoming phone number, another nice feature if you get a lot of nuisance telemarketers calls.

I have owned this phone system for two months. It functions well and is easy to set up in most cases. I especially like the call blocking. It took care of a pesky bill collector who thinks that I am someone else. The caller ID and phone number book works well. The handsets are comfortable to use and the talk time is more than adequate. The phone and handset extensions needs a louder voice volume. The manual leaves out some needed information, such as how to get rid of a voice message warning on the phone screen when you never signed up for voice messaging from your service provider. The range of the handsets away from the base unit is limited. You might consider buying the optional base range extender. I would suggest that the instruction manual be divided into two different sections. One section to set up and use the phone system without a cell phone attached and a second section for using the phone system with a cell phone. All said and done, this phone system works well as is expected of all Panasonic products and is worth the price.

The Link to Cell feature doesn't work with an i-Phone 5 unless you have never updated the i-Phone operating system, which of course everyone has updated their operating system. I told Panasonic that I was very disappointed that a company like Panasonic would sell a unit that they knew would not work with several cell phone models, including the i-Phone. I returned this item and then, after numerous calls with numerous Panasonic employees, I negotiated a reduced price directly with Panasonic on model TGE274S. TGE274S works with the i-Phone 5.
