Installed Just Fine. Printer also includes easy instructions to verify Colors and tone of ink. Separate instructions from the cartridge. Pre installed Microchip for easy installation.
Wonderful quality
Bought this cartridge because apparently there were no standard 232 cartridges available for the 4200, and we print infrequently. When the old one gave up, I put this one in, fresh from the package and correctly. The printer did not recognize it. Can't return it for being ENTIRELY DEFECTIVE because I ordered it before the old cartridge went out. I mean, who waits for their cartridge to go out before ordering a new one?????? SCAM, waste of 20 bucks. I have a thing of ink that I now have to throw away. Buy the Epson OEM. This is a scam of the worst kind. If you've updated your firmware in the last few years on the printer, RUN AWAY! You're just wasting your money and won't be able to return it.
I loaded the black ink cartridge into my Epson Workforce WF -2950 printer and the printer rejected it with the message: "Cannot recognize ink cartridge. Try installing again." I did try three times without success.
The Epson printer that this cartridge is supposed to go to does not work. Epson printer did an update and will only take Epson cartridges. I don't even know if this ink cartridge does work because it did not register with my Epson printer.
