I live in a Rural setting. Mice are a regular and continuous pest that must be delt with. I have tried several mechanical devices. Including the loathsome spring trap, in which I encountered a mouse that somehow got the bait without setting the trap(not kidding). This device for sale here WORKS consistently. Very user friendly. Easily reusable. Wow! What more could a human want out of a mouse trap?

These are terrific traps! Sometimes it is a little difficult to get the trap to stay open (cocked and ready), but everything else is great. I use peanut butter in the bait hole, and the mice go for it readily.

The traps lived up to my expectations in catching the little varmints quickly (they love peanut butter), and the alligator-type of design made it very easy to dispose of the mice. There was no touching or prying the trap open ~ simply open the trap with one hand and let the carcass slip into a bag or trashcan. Very satisfied customer here 👍

We have a bad field-mice problem because we built a home on an old farming/gardening property. The mice don't like intruders on “their” land, to say the least. I found the reusable mouse traps and purchased them (No, I don't like killing mice but as many rodents that are trying to get inside our home, we have no choice). I baited the 6 mouse traps with peanut butter (3 traps) and cheese (3 traps) then placed them around the outside of our house. They work great….Caught a mouse within a few hours. Good purchase!!

These traps work well if baited properly. The bait must be inside the cup completely and not touching the trip plate. If it does it will likely prevent the plate from tripping the trap and allow the mouse to eat the bait and run away. I've caught dozens of mice after I realized what was keeping the trap from springing. During the late fall mice start coming in the house seeking shelter and warmth.

LOVE these mouse traps! They are easy to set without worrying you're going to snap your fingers. They are easy to clean and they are strong enough to kill a mouse. I will never go back to the wood traps!

The problem is not with Walmart at all. This is an inferior product. They are scary to set because the slightest touch will snap off your fingers. But I bought a large quantity and managed to get them all set and I put a drop of caramel ice cream sauce in the bait cup and the vermin are swarming over the traps instantly. They crawl over, under, around and over the traps, they pull and push the traps and bang them together and the jaw that is supposed to snap leans forward almost to the closed position but NEVER SNAPS. Finally I tripped them all to see if maybe the sauce had leaked and gummed up the works but no every trap is on a hair trigger to a finger. Nonetheless I ordered another large number of traps and purchased the bait recommended and sold and though the rodents didn't like it as well I got the same result. I had several mice trapped inside a closet and I surrounded the doorway layered 6 deep before I let the vermin out and they darted away right through those traps knocking them together and banging them all over the place and every single rodent escaped. I have yet to catch a single mouse or rat with those worthless traps and have to whack their nasty little heads off with my butcher knife after they all run through 20 or 30 traps like they did n
