Linksys AC1200 WiFi Router

This is my first time setting one of these up. I liked what it had to offer and I was not let down by it's performance! Easy! I can control it with my smartphone. It really doesn't take much time to set it up, 5 minutes. It's pretty much self explanatory. It comes with the cable to connect from your modem to the yellow (internet) port in the back. You enter a username and a password for yourself. Then select if this is your main or temporary router. Guest network, parental controls and media. Also, it has 4 ethernet ports. It does give you faster streaming/gaming, more devices. Takes out the worry of friends using my wifi. It's protected. And that annoying circle when it's buffering, gone. No more!

I wasn't happy that the shipper (FedEx) delayed the shipment to my home as I really needed this product to improve my home entertainment system, but I was happy when it finally arrived.

i needed to replace my old (8 years!) router before it died. This Lynksys is a name I trust and it did not disappoint. The app is a definitely aimed at a novice but once you've named the 2.4 and 5 Ghz channels you just change your devices to the appropriate channel. I have 7 devices logged on and it always is at full strength.

The LinkSys ac1200 Wi-Fi router is very easy to set up. It boasts a 1200 Mbps, which all I know is fast. I don't know the technology terms and abbreviations but I know what works and the Linksys routers are always my favorites. This router is small and black so that it does not take up much space and can blend what the surrounding area is very well. This router has a dual band which again I can't say what that means other than it's fast. I would recommend anyone looking for a good router to definitely check this one out!

We have long been a fan of Linksys routers and this one is no exception. It keeps are wifi signal strong and steady - which is important as I work from home. Even with heavy traffic (from streaming, gaming, and additional phones and computers on our home network) - we've had no problems. Set up was easy and I like that it's relatively small and not an eyesore as we have it set up in our living room.

The Item was never receved. Shipped UPS which provides inferior service to my location. The item was returned to the shipper and I did receive a refund. That is the positive part. I recommend purchasing from this provider.

this item had been used and we were not informed of that. the booklet that typically comes with a wifi router had been fully filled out by someone else.

Quit working after 90 days. Watching internet movie and it quit. Tries all Windows repairs and always boiled down to the device would no longer connect. Rresetting and different cables didn't work.
