The packaging on this thing was great. The outside box was beat up pretty bad but the inside packaging and protection was impressive. Quality looks good and assembly was pretty straightforward.

The assembly took about 5 hours without a drill. I love the piece it fits perfectly in my dining room. Plenty of storage space for small appliances, serving platters and kitchen linens. Great option as built-ins were too pricey. Can't wait to order some cushions and complete the look.

Great quality, looks beautiful, feels sturdy. Took my husband some time to put together. My husband was able to build this without the corner piece so that it fit our space perfectly. He also cut the piece of wood that came for the corner. Overall very happy with our purchase.

This is suuuuuch a great piece! I honestly put this thing together (it did take a long time and i did need help with 2 of the steps... especially putting on the bench tops) but it is so well made, sturdy and beautiful. I feel like whoever designed this really cared about making something people would live with and around. It actually feels like someone thought about it's utility and craftsmanship and not just putting together pieces that technically look like the picture advertised... but are just terrible materials, ugh! You know the ones! You've gotten that stuff before-- and you grin and bare it because putting it all back in the giant box is more effort than it is worth. Those products sometimes end up being burdensome and annoying...just taking up space in your home and making things feel off. blah! well... not this bench! THIS BENCH was designed with care. if you put it together with care... you'll get a beautiful piece of furniture out of it. solid, heavy, great storage, some instructions were a little obscure but youre a smart cookie and youll figure it out. my family and i love it!!

The assembly was pretty easy. Fits in my space perfectly and adds extra storage the kitchen. Staining it was a lengthy process to match my table but I got it a close match by mixing stains. Doesn't take well to chalk paint.

My husband and I ordered this thinking it would be cheaper materials however we were overall impressed with the material. It was a little difficult to assemble and my husband got frustrated with it but overall its price for the quality is great! Very happy.

putting this thing together was a nightmare. There are tons of parts and pieces, and the instruction are worthless. I dont recommend due to the complexity of having to put it together. However after getting it together, it works for what I needed for and its very sturdy. Looks nice in the room.

This was by far the toughest assembly I've had in the allen wrench, mid-tier furniture category (eg. Ikea, Wayfair, Target, WalMart, etc). I've unfortunately moved a lot in my life and have, like many, resorted to these types of furniture pieces that never sit quite right, are made of cheap MDF board, and somehow still cost hundreds of dollars. This piece is no exception. I can usually build one of these things within an hour or so. This took 3 hours, help from my girlfriend, and some jimmy-rigging. Most of the pilot holes don't exist, the dowels did not line up towards the end so I had to tilt the whole thing up and make it fit. The instructions are small and unclear. The "video" it comes with is quite literally just the instruction booklet with these little animated hammers lol. At the end it's still a bit wonky, like all of these mid-tier furniture builds are. But, it holds our weight, looks ok, and will be good storage. If you're handy, you can just build one of these for about the same price or less. If you're not, just paying a hundred or two more and have a pro build you on to your exact specs. Also, I always subtract points for companies that use those stickers that you can't peel off.

The top is the type of fake wood that is so soft and not durable—I can literally scratch and make an indent with my fingernail. The base is not the same material so I'm going to try and build my own top or cover it to help with the longevity.

I spent weeks looking for a storage type bench for my playroom that not only allowed storage but sturdines as well and this really caught my eye well, we spent 3hrs putting this piece of furniture togeather and it is very flimsy and any little movement of one of the benches causes it to go out of alignment its a good looking piece but definitely dont buy if you have kids or a dog that will bump it trying to figure out if i am going to carry it in to return it but it would probably break before we got it out of the house
