Oh, wow. This is a showstopper! I LOVE this pop-up thingy SO MUCH! I was jealous I didn't have it as a kid when I first saw it. XD My husband commented on how amazing it is, too. It plays all kinds of music (just add batteries). But you don't have to have the batteries if you don't want. There are amazing pop-ups of animals %26 tidbits connected to them with SEPARATE LITTLE BUTTONS. That's the best touch! Like, the dog pops up with a big button, and the dog's bowl pops up with the small button. There are all kinds of different shapes and a variety of mechanisms on the big buttons. I am very happy with this purchase.

This little water table has all the components my 3.5 year old boy loves: water, a working faucet, scrubby and fishing pole. As far as entertainment value goes, 5 stars; he loves to play independently for an hour or more with this. It's light and easy for me to move around as I move around the house to get things done (front yard, back porch -- bathroom would also work). So long as kiddo doesn't dump the water out, he doesn't need me to "fix" much so he can play. If he's playing outside, he can use the hose to fill the basin again. Cons: it is a bit flimsy. One of the legs had a crack at the base when I took it out of the box; this hasn't effected its overall stability thus far. It is short, but my son doesn't mind playing on his knees or squatting. I did warn him not to put his weight on it, since it might break. The hook on the fishing pole is a bit tricky to hook to the fish for a little kid and may be frustrating for them; but I suppose it's a safer option than using magnets. There was a brown plastic X shaped piece that I never figured out what it was meant for. There are vague picture instructions on the box that helped me put the rest together. If this broke, I would buy it again. My kid loves it and it wasn't too expensive either at around $30. Time will tell if the battery life on the faucet is good and how the table holds up with regular use.

The faucet stopped working after about an hour. It was a birthday present for my two year old granddaughter and she was terribly upset when the water quit running. The pump was still whirring, but not a drop of water would come out.
