Lion Brand Mandala Gradient Dark Teal Yarn

Softness of yarn is a nice attraction, but the transition on the gradient is very well done. The definition of the stitch is good as well. Haven’t washed it yet, not sure about the pill factor, I think it may pill slightly, id definitely wash alone and air dry if possible.

The color of the yarn is beautiful and it transitions well. I do not like that there are areas deep within the cake where the yarn is split very badly. The yarn strand has to be cut out because the plies are so loose. I do not like this, for as much as we have to pay for this yarn! This is definitely an ongoing Quality Control issue.

I highly recommend this yarn! It's probably the best I've used in quite some time. It's a thick 4-durable, and very easy to work with. It holds its shape beautifully and glides smoothly on the hook. My experience with this brand's “cakes” hasn't always been this nice of a yarn. I originally used it for my amigurumi projects, and after seeing how well it performed, I honestly wish I had started using it on some of my more complicated pieces too. I also made a unity scarf with it to test how the gradient color changes would look, and it turned out better than I expected. This was the easiest yarn I've ever used for a scarf! Scarves usually give me a hard time, but this yarn made it much easier to keep an accurate stitch count, it frogged (unraveled) cleanly when I needed to fix a few rows, and the finished look is fantastic. If you could see some of my past scarf attempts… let's just say they weren't exactly wearable! But this one? I'll wear it proudly. Overall, this is an excellent all-around yarn if you're looking for great quality at a good price.

The colors are so bright and the weight of the yarn is a heavy 4. Love the ombre colors. Have order several time of same color. Every person I have gift with a hat, scarf and gloves love the colors. I was never much of a pink person this one changed my mind.

After some of the recent purchases of yarn I have made, this one was a refreshing change. The balls were wound without tangles and flow smoothly. The gradient colors flow so well that you don't notice a change until you get into the darker colors or. hold it up and take a closer look. It is great for larger or flat projects such as baby blankets, afghans, adult blankets, etc. At first it doesn't seem soft at all, but as it works up it gets softer. I love working with this yarn.

this yarn is really good and when crochet my dog her blanket it was warm and it soft enough but last yarn that i got from this brand of yarn there was couple of knots in yarn roll. my dog loves her new blanket.

One of the best yarns on the market. I'm so glade Walmart carry's it. We need more of the color line thou. Appearance is beautiful as the gradient colors go from light to dark or vice versa. And the drape is beautiful too. Highly recommend this yarn.

The color is GORGEOUS. I got Burgundy. It has a pretty halo, and I would classify this as a 5 rather than 4. But omggg it's so rough. I don't know why I didn't return it and I progressed with my blanket, but the color tempted me to proceed. I regret it. All that work crocheted in a rough, scratchy yarn. If you're not sensitive to touch, go for it. But avoid this yarn if you're sensitive to fabric textures.

This yarn was not nearly as soft as I was hoping, but the main issue for me was the way the color transitioned -- it's all light at the beginning and works its way to dark at end, so that when you start a new skein there's a very abrupt change back to the very light color. I prefer yarn that subtly changes color frequently.
