Lion Brand Yarn Mandala Bowser Light Acrylic Yarn 3 Pack

I absolutely love Mandala yarn and this shade (Warlock) is possibly my favorite. The colors remind me of autumn leaves in the American Midwest. The yarn itself is lighter than a medium (4) weight, but not as light as a sport (3) weight. I would classify it as a “3.5” in the weight scale. I have made a throw blanket from it and am working of a poncho right now. It is just the right weight for a fall garment. I think it would work up nicely into a shawl or cardigan as well. It is soft right out of the wrapper and only gets softer upon washing.

I'm working with this John right now and it is so soft and easy to crochet with the colors are beautiful.

The yarn was shipped quicker than expected. It was more beautiful than I imagined. This yarn was shipped quicker than Amazon would buy again.

I needed more of this brand and color of yarn to complete my project, and it was an exact match to the yarn I had already had. The price was lower than other sources. The Lion Brand is always one that I trust for quality yarn.

I hated working with this yarn. There are some consistency issues with thickness and it can get sticky. I imagine there is just too much starch on it, but parts of it are terrible. The colorway is also a bit inconsistent. I ordered two because I was making a big blanket and ordered a third because there was not enough to finish. I love the colors and maybe the third set will be better. I expect washing will take care of the stickiness. I would not use this to make another project, it is just too annoying.

The colors of the yarn are lovely. They are a soft blend of grays blues lavenders beiges that blend beautifully. This yarn is very soft and easy to work with. It has a slight tendency to fuzz, but that's not a dealbreaker for me. I recommend the yarn for Afghans, baby items, hat, scarves anything like that . It's a good value for the money. I'll definitely buy again. The yarn is 3 weight (thinner than worsted weight) which is exactly what I wanted.

Love the color of this yarn, have used it in a few projects. I gave it 4 stars because it isn't very soft and if you need it right away, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. The label for shipping was printed the Monday after ordering but it didn't make it to the shipper until Friday. It took 9 days to get here. Shipped from Georgia to arrive in Indiana.

I purchased the color dragon and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, I ended up returning this because I thought they were large cakes. Instead they were the size of a saucer plate and I was planning on crocheting a large blanket. I ended up going to Walmart, returning those 3 small cakes and purchasing 4 of the bonus bundle cakes. I spent $48 for the 3 small cakes and $40 for 4 of the large cakes. In a way, I'm glad it happened cuz I ended up getting more for less.

I've been asked to review this item, and I still have not even received it in the mail! I got lost in the mail, and there was no notice or any reaching out to me to tell me so. When I reached out to ask about it, I was told it was lost, and that they were looking for it. When I said to stop looking for it and just send me a new order overnighted because I needed it quickly, they agreed to send it. When it didn't get to my house the next day I followed up again only to find out they did not overnight it. They just sent it via regular mail. I still don't have it. This is an issue with Walmart, not the product at all. The product is fine.
