Great product, but this softness comes with one small down fall, although does not stop me from purchasing more, it does snag a bit more than a durable cotton yarn. Only found this in the bulky strands. Normal weight no issues. It works up beautifully, but kids and cats are a no-no. Love that it is eco-friendly and washes up nicely. The larger strand is great for a bed throw, but you will lose pattern definition if too intricate. Smaller thread produces elegant pattens that are worth the time and effort. ReSpun is one of the better products for the money, environment and finished product! One of my favorites!

The yarn is soft. I have been using to mar hats which are nice and warm. The yarn does tend to split.

The yarn is beautiful and high quality, but there wasn't enough in stock to finish the blanket I started. It was sold out everywhere but in one store. Having it delivered so quickly was amazing as I make blankets for the elderly.

Love Respun yarn and it comes in so many Colors! I'm crocheting a Boho blanket and it's turning out beautifully; the shades are spot on! The yarn has a nice soft texture which is great to snuggle up to, but tough to work with as a crafter because it tangles easily...but the knots do come out without much hassle. I've made several blankets as gifts and received tons of compliments and the finished products look amazing. It can be used for hats, scarves, pretty much anything cold-weather related. It washes well in a lingerie bag on a delicate cycle and dries on air dry if you take it out when it's still a tad damp (keeping it in the bag). This is the only yarn I use for blankets now! I absolute LOVE it. I highly recommend this yarn.

I wanted to really like this recycled yarn, but a couple things bothered me. One was that both skeins purchased were impossible to find the center pull from. Both had a huge yarn barf I had to untangle before even starting. The other thing is that this yarn halos huge. I could see it when I first bought them, but it got worse as I handled the item being worked up. I’m waiting to see if it starts to pill while I finish the first project. Otherwise, the yarn is soft and doesn’t squeak like plastic.
