Biirthday present for our 5-year-old. Our 5 year old loves it. but not just the five-year-old. the 3-year-old, 8-year-old, 10-year-old, and 12-year-old, all played with him. it is a really cool set. Would definitely buy again or recommend.

Awesome Lionel Ready to Play train
This train is easy to set up and play with for kids. It's sturdy and the construction parts aren't glued in so kids can play with them. The crane moves. My son has 3 Lionel ready to plays and this is his favorite. It doesn't come in a box with handle like the other Lionel Ready to Play trains but I added my own handle so it's easy to pack away and carry around.

way bigger than i thought
this train is hige for the price that i paid!!!!!!! it looks very well built and i think my son is goning to love it!!!!

Constant derailment
The quality of the train is nice but the train would constantly derail, it couldnt go around more than once without derailment. Only reason why i gave it 2 stars was because the quality is there but the performance is so bad it cant even use it, not recommended for child under 8
