Lionel Polar Express Battery Operated Train Set with Custom Announcements

Shipping was fast. Packaging is great for storage later. This small train is perfect for younger kids or placement around your tree. It sounds realistic and runs so well around the track. Love, love it. I purchased this for my young grandsons. They are enjoying it so much and used their wood blocks to build tunnels and platforms. Black Friday price was excellent.

I was nervous getting this train at such a low price. But it's actually quite amazing, works very well. The station announcement are great. It's all plastic, but the rails seems fairly sturdy putting together and taking apart more than once. My child is very delighted, it is a magical experience.

Perfect beginner train set for the grandkids. They were so excited and really enjoyed playing with it. My. only concern is with the quality of the track connections. No issues yet, but since they are plastic only, and my grandkids are little, if the track gets pulled apart, they could easily be broken.

Great price and starter track for any kids who love trains or the polar express! you just need to make sure they are all lined on the track or they fall off easily

I've been trying to find an affordable part express set foe the kids for years and this was perfect alternative. Easy to use, hours of fun. Oval loop is decent size, fits perfectly around the christmas tree. Everyone has enjoyed it

It's a nice little train set. I little pricey for the quality, I think. Easy to set up. Takes up a bit more room than I'd prefer. A little chintzy in the quality and batteries don't last real long. But it's fun to have!!!

My husbands brother loved it! He is on the spectrum but he is obsessed with trains and when he opened his gift he went crazy!!! I am very impressed by the train and I feel relieved since I bought the warranty.

I bought this to use with my Christmas village and with my 2.5 year old grandson in mind. He absolutely loved it. It has held up for the most part. We didn't let him remove the train from the track and play with it, but he did learn quickly how to turn it on. We did have to take off one of the cars because the train's batteries didn't seem strong enough to pull all four cars. We changed batteries thinking that might be the issue but it didn't do much better with the new batteries. I don't regret buying it at all and may purchase another one next year. I wouldn't give it 5 stars but for the price 4 seems okay.

It's a gift, still in box, but looks good. A little smaller than expected. Price ($40) is high and feels like you aren't getting much for the money.

I was excited to receive this train set to use under the christmas tree, however, the set was very disappointing. I'll say the tracks was very easy to connect but the link to connect the cars together was flimsy and the cars separated easily from each other. I also wondered if the set is even a legit lionel set as the rods that connect the wheels together doesn't actually move like what I've seen polar express models do. Also the last wheels of the main car that function as the moving wheels was elevated more than the 2 pair of wheels in front of it making the single car difficult to move on it's own..and just basically impossible if connecting all the cars together. Will definitely be returning!
