This makes a great glass of iced tea in just a few minutes. I make a big container of it, using one tea bag per approx. 18 ounces of water. I fill the container, drop in the bags, and walk away. In just a few minutes I have enough tea for days. It lasts 5 days without getting cloudy or gross and always tastes good.
I WAS RELUCTANT TO TRY THESE BECAUSE I USED TO ALWAYS BOIL MY TEA BAGS!!! NEVER AGAIN THESE ARE PERFECT!! THE TASTE IS WONDERFUL AND SO EASY AND FAST TO PREPARE!!
Lipton cold brew tea brews up nicely. I use two litres room temp water and let it steep until it's the colour I like. It really doesn't take that long and it tastes like the great quality black tea one would expect. Definitely will be buying this again.
I love the Cold Brew tea. Iced tea is my daily drink of choice in addition to water, and I prefer it over soda, energy drinks, and other carbonated beverages. Going with the Cold Brew has simplified and improved my tea-making because I don't need to boil water to steep the tea. I can now make tea at work easily. I just fill a pitcher with cold or tepid water, add the tea bags, and the tea steeps while I sit at my desk. I have tried cold brewing with normal tea bags, but they didn't have the strength or flavor without the boiling water. (If you need to add sugar, I would recommend you dissolve sugar in hot/boiling water, then add to the Cold Brew once dissolved.) Highly recommend!
I have tried several other brands of the cold brew iced tea that were terrible. I always keep coming back to the Lipton. It is the best hundred percent hands-down. The others have a funny taste to him or they're very weak no matter how many bags you use. So don't waste your money pick up a brand. It's the best has been for years and every TV put out
I've been drinking Lipton tea since I was a teenager. I am retired now and it is still the very best tea out there for iced tea or hot tea. You can change it up with cinnamon or just about anything. I added juice to it periodically like pomegranate juice to make iced tea with it it's wonderful!
Finally found a substitute for the Lipton Instant Tea that Walmart no longer carries. Very easy to make, no boiling of water required. BUDGET TIP: Instructions state to add 2 teabags and let brew for about 5 minutes. But, if you are not in a hurry, just use 1 teabag and let it sit for 5 hours or so. Half the price and tastes the same!!
I love the convenience of cold brew tea. While the old-fashioned way of brewing it by boiling water and letting the tea bags seep IS better, I have found that if I let this sit to brew/seep for longer than recommended in the instructions on the box, it is very good without all the hassle. I've even let it sit from morning (breakfast) to evening (dinner) and it is very good.
We keep 2 jars of this cold brew tea in the refrigerator all the time - summer and winter! 2 tea bags in a 64 ounce mason jar. After 3 hours (or more - timing not real critical), we remove the bags and sweeten the entire jar. So easy, so convenient... and so good!!
for the 3rd time i havent gotten my order deliverd because they cant find anyone to deliver it and i cant rescedual it or come opick it up myself because the driverr has to fill the order . now im sitting here wondering if its even gonna show up of if ui will have to go fill the order myself like i did l;ast time]
