My family loves a strong sweet tea whenever we have family gatherings. I always let it brew and sit overnight to cool, then in the morning I make the sweet tea. Two cups of sugar to a 64oz container makes a perfectly sweetened tea, then chill. It has a full balance of flavor.
This tea is very refreshing hot or cold. There are enough teabags to make a pitcher or two of ice tea. I grew up on Lipton tea and will continue to drink Lipton tea forever.
Lipton tea has been a family favorite for years. I have used all the brands, but I always come back to Lipton. I have a healthy food card on my Medicare plan. Unfortunately, tea is not considered healthy and they don't sell it on the website. I wish they did. This is good tea!
I was raised on Lipton and I will stick with it!! I think it taste better hands down compared to other name brands and generic!! Nothing like a fresh glass of iced sweet tea!!
it takes four bags to make a gallon of tea but as long as it lasts me I guess I shouldn't complain. the flavor is wonderful and Lipton is the only tea that I drink. this particular box is good for one or two people and for about 4 gallons of tea. definitely something to consider and should your family drink more tea than I do then I would perhaps search for a larger box
This is the tea I grew up drinking as iced tea. Bold and refreshing with sliced lemon on a humid southeast GA day.
I don't make tea often. However when I do I always use Lipton. It has a great flavor and I really enjoy it as well as my friends and family
Lipton has been carried by my family for generations. I can have it Hot or Cold at ANY time of the day😘
I got some Lipton tea bags much earlier this year and they have been out for quite a while. It got really crazy during the pandemic but I expected everything to be back on schedule by now. I have to admit, I am irritated as all get out that they are worrying about packaging when it was perfect and just means prices getting jacked up all the more. And I really do not like the new packaging at all. The visual is too busy, calling it unsweetened is very confusing, as tea bags are unsweetened! I think it's also silly and a waste of money to make sweetened tea bags but whatever! And the worst part? They do not have any protection on them. It's just a cardboard box with tea bags in it. They have always had a thin layer of plastic over the box to make them airtight. Nothing to protect them means they will lose their potency in a very short time. Therefore, I had to dedicate a container w/lid to protect them. That's okay, but if they want to worry about being more sustainable, there's much better ways than to neglect the product and waste money on redesign. Dunno if Lipton will ever see this, but it would be better to have them in just a thin airtight plastic bag for switching them to your own container.
I dislike the quantity of tea bags, I get family size tea bags that makes a gallon of cold tea, or hot. I get a family-size bag at GFS ( gordon food service, and I'm able to make a gallon or more of ice tea. The tea bags are actually LARGE, and I thought I was getting THAT family-size!
