Just like it used to be except now the price makes it a luxury. Do not like/want flavored, or sweetened. Just the plain black, instant tea. No sitting in sun or cooking hot %26 adding ice or waiting. Please be reasonable with price, so much better than soda for all of us and would buy a lot more.
It used to come in a glass jar with a screw on lid about 14 inches tall. These are way to small compared to those conrainers and it was much cheaper in price 3 years ago.
It's so nice to have the unsweetened, unflavored black tea mix back. I live in the south, and I hated the flavor of the sweetened black tea mix. I can make my tea as weak or strong as I want and add the type and amount of sugar I want. It's great!
I’ve been waiting maybe two years to be able to buy this product. Don’t know why Lipton stopped making it. It is so fantastic that they’re repackaged it and put it back on the market. It is so easy to use when you want a quick refreshing glass of iced tea. Please don’t take it away again!
Several months ago Lipton quit making the unsweetened instant tea. I don’t know if they thought it wasn’t selling as good as they thought it should. Maybe they just stopped to retool put it in smaller packages for the same price, I don’t know. So far I’ve only been able to find it in one Walmart store other than ordering online.
I'm so glad they finally brought back tea powder, however, I got Temu'd. The picture for this makes it look like a big container of tea, however it's smaller than the original glass jars they previously sold. I'm not disappointed in the product, just the size. I would recommend the product 100% but they need to make an accurate depiction of the size of the container.
I grew up on and I’m 58 years old. It came in a glass jar. I remember making it for my father when rI twas little. This is not the same tea. It’s powdery absolutely dusty takes twice as much to make a glass and doesn’t quite taste as it once did. If you grew up on the tea, you’re not imagining that it is different. Please complain to the company so we can get our original unsweetened Lipton iced tea back.😬
Not worth the purchase! This instant tea has almost no flavor when made with directions on the can. I doubled the amount used and it still tasted like weak watered down tea. I even added more and it never tasted right. I'm not sure if it's all like this or if I just purchased a bad batch, but I won't try it again.
This instant tea is nothing like the one they used to make in the glass container. It is flavorless, and you get half of the size it used to be for the same price. I even added more than recommended to try to make it taste good, and it only made the color darker.
Lipton iced tea power! This was the worst tea I ever had from Lipton, I don’t know what they did when they changed from a glass jar to cardboard container, but this tea has no flavor and even smells funky in the container. Not like the glass jar at least that smelt like tea. So disappointing and disgusted! 🤮 I’m definitely calling them to complain . It took me forever to find this tea in the store they were always out and now summer is over I couldn’t even enjoy it. What did they change, besides the packaging? The glass jar was so much better tasting and smelled good! I see that they took off the new label made with Real Tea!
