I was skeptical at first, expecting packets of useless swill. Imagine my surprise when I received not only a 5-pack of great-tasting apple gel (so good that I was tempted to down a second packet), but I received something that made me feel like I'd had a bit of a boost after taking it! Highly recommended - in fact, I'm just now going to buy some more!
Liquacel has improved my lab numbers. It is very thick but can be diluted and I love the grape flavor. Some of the other flavors are very good too. I mix with other things like gingerale too.
I am a dialysis patient, and I find this alternative to be inexpensive as well as convenient.
This is a protein supplement that is easy to drink when a patient doesn't enjoy or tolerate the nutrition "shakes." It has a pleasant fruit taste. There are 32 ounces, for 32 doses, and a shelf life of three months once opened.
I was given this in the hospital after surgery. I decided to continue taking this at home while I continue to recover. It tastes good and seems to be working.
Great source of protein. I have been using this product for the past three years and I highly recommend it.
There are many flavors in this brand but I found watermelon to taste best over crushed ice with a little water.
Given to mother who is in Dyalisis, she doesnt like taste (too sweet) but specially the smell. It does help improve who protein intake.
DISGUSTING!!! I purchased the unflavored one & mixed it with some orange juice before tasting it alone. It is thick like pancake syrup and once mixed with the juice, it was beyond sweet. I literally started dumping after drinking it. I will never buy this again. I
Got this for my dad, who was recovering from a broken hip, because it was supposed to help with healing. It tasted so terrible that he could not even get it down. It was thick, and you'd probably have to mix it with a gallon of water to disguise the awful taste. Complete waste of money.
